Toilet ,   Toilet shemesh   (01.07.12)
Call a spade a spade.... Now this should be described as a RIOT BY SECULARS... why in your papers is every Haredi demonstration called a riot.. But not if it is SECULARS?
5. Good to see the socialists/commies getting treated right
Alon ,   Haifa, Israel   (01.07.12)
"Social Justice" means re-distribution of wealth to "even the playing field". I don't want to have my paycheck re-distributed to anyone but myself. I worked for it, not anyone else. I don't want the government forcing services down my throat that I don't want or need. These clowns can either do something useful with their huge amount of free time or be gone.
6. Lock these leftist fools up!
Jayjay ,   Israel   (01.07.12)

9. To # 1, Tambour , Eilat
Joseph.E ,   Givatayim   (01.08.12)
Dafni Leef is not anarchist if that's what you imply thru your comment . I think Dafni and friends are the answer to the 'Moloch' state that the banks, corporates , tycoons with the cooperation of the Israeli parliament have turned Israel into . They are in clear violation of the Israel Independance contract .
10. Nobody is coming to help you.
ZeDude ,   Israel   (01.08.12)
Remember the golden rule: NOBODY is coming to help you. If you don't jump up and down and make noise , you will be left on the sideways either taken for a dead corpse or a simpleton.......its your future, its the future of the children you bring into this world. So a few bins died...big deal.
11. kol hakavod!
pini   (01.08.12)
Keep fighting! Israel can't be america, its too small! It was built on socialistic ideas and must cont in that tradition! Without brotherhood in Israel, it will fall.

14. income distribution
Zivron   (01.08.12)
The rich and upper middle class jews in the galut and israel better resolve this fast by philantropy a jewish obligation. Hillel had to do a hard comprimise with the prosbul it worked but the jews showed 3egotistical lack of fibre and soon lost eretz yisrael . Netanyahu needs restudy his judaism as does the cabinet. The jews in the galut who dont want to assimilate into the decadent corrupt abusive morass better wake up fast .

18. I don't understand..
Abba ,   Rehovot, Israel   (01.08.12)
The same people calling the haredim parasites are looking for handouts from my hard earned money. Well I say: 1. You don't have the money to live in Israel's Manhattan (Tel Aviv), or the city, live in Israel's Long Island, (Beer Sheva, Arad, etc.) 2. You don't have the money to go to college, or send your kids to college? well don't blame me or the state, blame your parents and grandparents for not living on less so they save the money to send you. 3. No more welfare, or government grants to you parasites that just want us to fix your bad planning. In the rest of the world this is how it works, only an Israeli would have the audacity (look it up) to blame others and beg for help. You want the rules to change? well push for a constitution granting you real representation, accountable to constituents of specific geographical areas. Freedom looks good on paper but inevitably ones freedom frequently denies another his. This is where a constitution helps. A set of rules and rights that cannot be changed by any government and a supreme court held responsible to keep a check on the government to abide by this constitution in the laws they pass. To explain the entire process here is just too long, but look it up. Most importantly, get your parasite tents out of the parks I pay for. Act responsibly like the rest of the civilized world. You want to protest, fine; Get a permit with a set time limit and be heard. But don't take public area's hostage, and when you do finally leave, clean up the trash and fix all the dead grass you cause.
19. All I see is Stav resisting arrest, not police violence.
Ron M ,   South Tel Aviv   (01.08.12)
20. to #2 & #9 : A better route to justice
Tambour ,   Eilat   (01.08.12)
Rioting to cause chaos is anarchy. Inequality before the law and lots more is not right within Israeli culture 1. Corruption 2. Black economy 3. Mal-application of laws in courts 4. Bureaucracy 5. Responsibility shirked when possible Campaign to change these fault lines in society before corruption corrodes the state and bring its end
21. The truth about the situation
john ,   Beverly Hills, CA   (01.08.12)
Some of the youth worldwide simply do not want to work, protesting they feel makes them less of a bum. It doesnt matter what a government does, they still yell and scream and protest. Fact is Israel is like CA and NY in a way, you have expensive areas and not expensive areas. This protest is like people in CA and NY protesting that rent in beverly hills or nyc by central part is too expensive. Get a grip youth in israel, your economy is way better than most of the modern world and you have lots of good things going on for you. The rich will stay rich and as long as you protest and play the blame game, a game that only those whos brain has been destroyed by drugs play, you will get poorer and poorer, ONLY hard work and dedication will help you. OWS movement in the USA has gone to the garbage, and most people now see them as rodents.
22. i dont understand why looser has to have the same
mario   (01.08.12)
quality of life as successful person has? Whant to have good life? Find job which PAYS!!!!
23. I hope these violent people get condemned like the herdi vi
hadad ,   u.k   (01.08.12)
24. where are the calls?
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (01.08.12)
Where are the calls for shooting these people? When Zionists peacefully protested the destruction of their homes based on racism, the police used YSM troops, horses and rubber bullets. They arrested little girls and beat anyone they could. And with all that, Leftist politicians called for shooting them dead. Now some foreign funded anarchists are rioting to get taxpayer money without working and the police treat them with kid gloves. Yet the Leftists politicians are silent.
25. hey #9: i pay enough taxes to support several like you

26. kol hakavod, Dafne Leef
Dan the Jafa ,   Auckland, NZ   (01.08.12)
The girl clearly has landed herself a cushy job in Knesset. My condolences to useful idiots who bankrolled and astraturfed her ascension.
27. #25, please do not forget that there are present tense forms
Henry from New York ,   USA   (01.08.12)
of "to be" - I am, you are, he/she/it is.... Use of these verbs is crucial in any text dressing someone down.
28. To Leef and Stav
R ,   Israel   (01.08.12)
Kol Hakavod! I don't know whether your own situations have improved, but you have joined to help those who are still homeless and you haven't given up despite the fact that the fickle media has other "stars" to cover right now. I work hard to support all those who aren't working. I've worked all my life. My oldest served in the IDF in two wars and works hard but cannot afford decent housing, and I don't mean in downtown TA. Don't give up, just keep it legal.
