The pals can make no similar claim to the land. The reason they are there is due to the influx of Zionist farmers in the 1880's who created the agricultural economy that employed many migrant workers. Most Arab families who called themselves "Southern Syrians" have less than 1 or 2 generations in Israel's territory including the West Bank, and Gaza. The so called pals do not have a provable, artifact supported, written history in complete contrast to the continuous history of the Jewish People in Israel, and have created a false narrative to try to convince the world of their lie because they lost at wars which they started as the belligerents, and then when they lost their homes from their own belligerence...tried to claim refugee status as if they were innocents in the conflicts.. Dear 53, Thanks for the comment. Name calling is always the preferred method when you do not have an argument to support your position. My point is really quite simple and logical and based on the realities in the occupied West Bank. Basicaly you have a growing population of 2.5 million (at least) Arab residents that needs to be addressed. What are the options: Israel can incorporate them into Israel (in which case the Jewish majority would be very short lived); Israel can agree to a two state solution (which would allow Israel to keep its Jewish majority but without the land); or Israel can try to push out or eliminate the Arab majority (in which case it would be committing crimes against humanity). As I said, Israel current ations are self destructive. My argument is logical. WHat is yours? No doubt you will once again resort to name calling. It is fine with me - but it will not change the realities on the ground or the options Israel faces.
