That Israel doesn't allow the right to bear arms for its citizens (obviously there would be stricter guidlines). That would make terrorist attacks much harder to come by. While the crime rate would slightly increase, it's an increase I'd be willing to accept.

Guns don't cause crime anymore than gasoline causes arson. Here in the United States you will find the most gun crime in cities and states with the most gun control. Gun control only hampers honest people and leaves them at the mercy of criminals. Then added to that we have the war on drugs which only serves to keep the prices high so that it is lucrative to deal in them.
