Tim ,   Brighton   (01.13.12)
In Iran they say when Ahmadinejad says he ISNT developing a nuclear bomb you can rest assured he is Would you after the being treated to the most bizarre hysterics by a couple of giggling schoolboys Chavez and Ahmadinejad about the - Do I have or Dont I have a nuclear bomb not wonder about Ahmadinejads sanity? Ahmadinejad is a caricature - the consummate liar - who has lost every shred of credibility and is Irans walking and talking disaster Surely Iran deserves better
6. #1 - Iran already has energy, that's why we know it's a bomb
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (01.13.12)
Well, there's no need for a bomb in Toronto, but there may be the need for some clearer thinking. Iran sits on some of the world's largest oil reserves. They do not need energy - their entire country is literally floating on oil. That's the first reason we know he's a liar. Then there's the fact that the IAEA concluded that Iran is developing the technology for weapons, not for nuclear power. Then there's the fact that Iran invested billions in a secret uranium enrichment facility that they hid from international inspectors. If they are pursuing peace there is no reason to invest vast resources in hiding the truth. Then there's the fact that Ahmadinajad and his fellow Iranian leaders have repeatedly threatened that their goal is to destroy a fellow member of the United Nations: Israel. Iran needs to stop developing nuclear weapons. When the Europeans and Japanese cut their oil purchases, and Iran stops being able to pay its bills - maybe then the people of Iran will wake up and demand that their government stop squandering all of Iran's resources on nuclear weapons and their quest to become a new empire that threatens the peace of the entire world.
7. Sounds like he is on his last draw!!
Iranian Jew ,   LA   (01.13.12)
Really! We believe you then. Why didn’t you say all of these before? Good luck to you and the rest of diaper heads!!! You have to go to Ecuador to get approval? That is pathetic!
8. We believe it is immoral - hahaha
jeff ,   Beverly Hills, CA   (01.13.12)
"We don't believe in making atom bombs. We believe it is immoral." the entire iran justice system is immoral, everything about them is immoral, keeping on saying he wants to wipe israel off the map is immoral, denying the Holocaust is immoral.
9. #6. Thats the tragedy
Tim ,   Brighton   (01.13.12)
However much Ahmadinejad tries to gloss over it...nothing can hide the fact that Iran is technically bankrupt Estimates vary but range between 60-70% of the entire GDP is now supporting corruption on an unprecented scale, massive amounts of money supporting Hezbollah, Taliban, Hamas, Syria, South Caucasus Militants etc etc, militarisation on a scale than now pro rata supercedes that of Nazi Germany and last but not least the frenzied build up of a weapons nuclear capability Whats left? Crumbs for ordinary Iranians and worse a dire economic legacy for future generations Thats the tragedy...Where Nuclear Weapons take precedence over Agricultural modernisation, where nepotism and handouts take precedence over better health care, where generous hand outs to terrorists take precedence over better schools...and most important of all where totalitarianism and lies take precedence over freedom of speech and the truth Surely Iran deserves better
10. off corse not
Maximilian Teusch ,   FL   (01.13.12)
we are producing contrazeptives andsimilar items in our bunkers. The Swiss too are producing cheese in fortresses in the alps.
11. Reaction ?
Marc ,   Nice, France   (01.13.12)
Am I wrong, assuming Iranian "regime" is in a hurry to explain and deny about their nuclear projects, every time Western powers rattle their sabre ? After all, maybe they will give up once for all at first strike ? Pathetic big mouths & Holocaust deniers, with these funny towels etc...
12. So what?
graczek ,   Maryland, USA   (01.13.12)
So what if Iran is developing nuclear weapons? They have every right to do so doe self-defense against an already nuclear-armed Middle East aggressor. The US should butt out of this controversy, as Ron Paul urges, and then at least America will have one problem fewer about which to worry.
