1. Stop phony "peace talks" farce.
Chaim ,   Israel   (01.13.12)
Israel must return to our pre-Oslo policy of refusing to talk to terrorists. In those days, Israel stood strong and was widely respected by friends and foes alike. The phony "peace talks" invariably result in huge spikes in terror and rockets against Israel. Moreover, their aim is to render Israel defenseless, with a nine mile (15 minute tank ride) waist. Let's end the dangerous farce once and for all. This land is ours. Period.
2. Of course he is.
Henry from New York ,   USA   (01.13.12)
3. Oh, the Palestinians are disappointed
Eyal ,   USA Israel   (01.13.12)
Palestinians don't even deserve a chair to sit on. Meetings with the Palestinians is like meeting baby chimps.
4. disappointment
marcel   (01.13.12)
really-israel has to undo the concessions by olmert and livni who were in part influencing the courts so they wouldn't indict ehud. the concessions were aushwitz ones and livni should bow down in shame for going along with most of them. Tsipi wants proof she is dumb-here it is- a) she uses ramon as the chief of kadima, this is a convicted mk, who was olmert's water carrier, with no distinctive service and dumb as hell b)livni beieves her UN resolution on lebanon was a good one d)she allowed olmert to run around confused during the lebanon war without one nerve cell in his brain operation in the security sphere and she did nothing about it along with mofaz and dichter. people thoiught livni is different than olmert, cleaner. Yes she is apparently clean without convictions but she is naiive in the extreme. The talks with abbas are a waste;thenext 3 wars will do away with their issue as many hezbollah missiles will wipe out the arab population there. I suggest strongly to the arabs to move to jordan, all of you save the ones loyal demonstrably to israel.
5. What is the Pal position on refugees?
Sam ,   Canada   (01.13.12)
If Palestinians want progress in talks, they need to tell Jews their position on refugees. This speaks to the issue of Palestinians accepting Israel as a Jewish-majority country LONG TERM. This is key for Jews. Otherwise, talks will forever be useless. So, take heed, Palestinians. What is your position on refugees?
6. Stop all talk with the invented people !!
Don Rosenberg ,   Palatine USA   (01.13.12)
Ginggrich was absolutely right. These fake people deserve nothing from Israel. Let all the arabs help these racist ingrates. Israel absorbed 800000 Jews from arab lands, let the saudi's take in these fake people. The truth needs to be told and the charade of a pal... people be stopped in its tracks. No racist terrorist country in Judea/ Samaris . Tell the morons NO NO and NO !!!!
7. Jordanian Munchkin pretends impartiality
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (01.13.12)
Just who does he think he's kidding Jordan engaaged in three wars against Israel, stayed out of the fourth because his daddy was told that if Jordan joined Egypt & Syria in a fourth war, that would be end of the Artificial Kingdom of Jordan, which is situated on land that the British stole for the Jews, when the Brits mis-managed the Mandate for their own best interests Sure, his father finally signed a peace, he knew his head was on the chooping block if he didnt'
8. Dealing with Pal/Arabs thugs is like dealing with Mafia
Abraham ben Jacob ,   Canada   (01.13.12)
Whatever you give to the Pal/Arab mobsters, they are never satisfied. They always want more and more. These Pal/Arab mobsters are not to be trusted.
9. Unhappy? Choose a different country to steal land from
Yasser Aidsafat ,   Los Angeles, CA   (01.13.12)
Start with Jordan
10. Jordan stay disappointed

11. The king had no guts to tell ...
AlbertoGA ,   St. George, USA   (01.13.12)
The pals envoys " THIS IS PALESTINE"
12. Confidence building measures are an absolute necessity.
solomon ,   bklyn   (01.14.12)
With all that has gone on before, the arabs must understand that confidence building measures are an absolute necessity, especially given "reconciliation" talks with Hamas. Any 'peace' has to be established bit by bit as they can't be trusted. They must prove themselves. Words are not enough.
13. Security and Livelihood
Zivron   (01.14.12)
Talks ought concentrate on improving the security and animated livlihood of the area aiming for tourism .The Arabs ought not worry about the settlements some will be able to live in areas in Israel once security is guaranteed by the Powers of Humanitarian Internationalism.
14. Israel needs clear demands. Here they are.
Kubrikon ,   Somewhere   (01.14.12)
1) PLO to recognize that any negotiations will not change the fundamental character of Israel 2) PLO to reject any joint government with groups that do not recognize Israel and previous agreeements 3) PLO to accept the principle that changes on the ground make the 1967 lines untenable as a basis for negotiation.
15. Translation of the Midget King's words . . .
JB ,   SoCal. USA   (01.14.12)
King Abdullah of Jordan was "very disappointed" with the lack of progress _____Translation: I was very disappointed that those stubborn Jews refused to give all of Jerusalem and the rest of Israel to my Palis.________ "King Abdullah expresses sympathy for the Palestinian stand, and noted that the PA "cannot afford to stay in the same path indefinitely." _____Translation: Those damn Jews refuse to take all the Refugees squatting for decades so I can get rid of once and for all and live in peace here in my kingdom, Transjordan.
16. Proof right there, when will israel ever get serious
Chris ,   Australia   (01.14.12)
I cannot for the life of me understand why Israel cant ever take the talks seriously. Abbas on the one hand has started negotiations by telling Israel to work with him on a few things, but the Israelis only demand. If this isn't proof of israeli deception I don't know what is. Why do you "NEED" recognition of your state? Thats a deception! Why do you need a military on your border with Palestine? Deception, we all know you will continue the onslaught. Irs very simple Israel, Abbas is telling you nicely, go back to 49-67 palestinian borders, allow ALL refugees and their children and grandchildren to return to their homes inside "israel". And remove remaining jews from palestine nicknamed judea/samrii". And then peace will take place. But if you don't Abbas will walk away and you will have to accept more negotiating points next time. But Israel juat cant be a grown up, its always about security, civilian safety, and recognition(memememe).,abbas puts a couple points,on the table and israel blocks with demands and preconditions. Amazing, laughing stock of the world
17. I agree with Robert
Chris ,   Australia   (01.14.12)
Israel is a roadblock to peace in this world. Once israel is given back to original owners, the world will go back to norm
18. re: Sam
Cali Cal ,   Los Angeles, CA   (01.14.12)
This has been discussed before and they are resigned to the fact that only about 100,000 refugees spread out over ten years would be able to return.
19. As we all suspected, Israel was never serious
James ,   Canada   (01.14.12)
Israel is not interested in peace. They are only interested in "talks" to get the international community off their backs. Netanyahu desperately wishes to go back to the days when Israel pretended to seek peace on one hand while expanding settlements and ethnically-cleansing E. Jerusalem with the other. This is what Israel has done for 20+ years ever since the Oslo farce...why would they stop now?
20. One State Solution
Samer   (01.14.12)
Palestinians should give up on the 2-state solution. Israel will never allow the Palestinians to have a viable state with real freedom...not to mention that the strategic expansion of the settlements has made a Palestinian state virtually impossible. It is time for the Palestinians to push for full civil rights as citizens of Israel. Then all the Palestinian refugees can return to this newly-enlarged state. The demographics will be 50/50 and power will be shared equally between Jews and Arabs and Israel will be a bi-national state. That is the solution left since most Jews want all of the West Bank to be annexes. With the land comes the people living on it.
21. #20 - 1 state solution - I agree
Eyal ,   USA Israel   (01.14.12)
Jordan. I think it is time to tell the Palestinian Jordanian Passport holders to get out of Israel and start building your state in Jordan.
22. 16, 17, 19, 20
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (01.14.12)
You can agree with each other all you want, the fact is there will never be any discussion that demand a pre-agreement before the sit down to talk Those of you that claim to be in Australia, stop abusing your very own Aboriginies, from whom you stole their, land & children Those from other lands, get your craven backsides over here, what your brothers need is perspiration not your inspiration
23. #19 James, when are you getting serious
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (01.14.12)
About returning the stolen Native Canadian Indian land your squatting on? Practice what you preace!!
