Gilad Shalit, social justice, haredi against persecution from seculars now its the Ethiopians. Seems the things people like doing best in this country are protesting.
2. What exactly does he want?
rebecca ,   Modiin   (01.16.12)
Is this another of those social attention things where the people concerned have no idea what they want to happen, and have no viable suggestions? Or does he want affirmative action = discrimination in reverse? Israel is a country of self made people. That's one of the reasons I came here. I'm tired of people expecting others to make their lives happen.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.16.12)
It's a matter of degree and method, isn't it? Might also have something to do with legitimacy of protest.
6. thats crazy

poor bibi i would never accept to be the leader in this country it seems like all the crazy people r born here
7. In the U.S., training against discrimination.
Michael ,   California, USA   (01.16.12)
I was taught here in California, when I started my job, that the following defines discrimination: "if a person says he/she is discriminated, then it is." Racial discrimination, gender discrimination, discrimination of gays or of handicapped people, it is all one and the same. We were taught at the work place (by bosses), on the street (by police), in schools (by teachers), in churches and synagogues that discrimination is not acceptable. And really, it works, to a degree. Racial discrimination still lingers in the U.S., but much less than it once was. Also, there is no antisemitism in America even though occasional anti-Semite does show up to make some noise. As to fighting discrimination in Israel, start with diffusing the age old "adam l'adam zeev" and go from there. Will the next thousand years suffice to make a dent?
8. violence between Israel and Gaza
judy jacobson ,   st louis park   (01.16.12)

9. BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (01.16.12)
Black hats included.
10. #9, Nobody notices woman with a black hats.
Michael ,   California, USA   (01.16.12)
Go to the beach where black women bask in the sun. You can wear ten black hats and still nobody will notice you. Well, if you have no place like this in Jerusalem, go to a synagogue where women in the yard wearing peot wait for their student husbands. Take notice when the students come out, and their 80 year old rabbi along, that nobody will notice you in the black hat. Yes, try it at a Haredi synagogue also -- nobody will pay attention to you anywhere.
11. 10 Michael,shall we bet ...
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (01.16.12)
that i will be noticed with ten black hats? Anyway i was talking about men hats. More over, who wants to be noticed? I want people to be happy when they see me,because they feel that i appreciate them.
