I feel sorry for these two young men who all they want is closure to what has happened in their lives and with out that they will find life very hard. I feel sorry for Rabbi Elon who can’t be a man and tell the truth and admit he has a problem. There are so many with the same problems, simply putting it Same Sex Attraction and without the proper help it will be there for the rest of his life. It would be better to admit the problem and move forward, I am sure that Rabbi Elon’s wife loves him and will support him through his tough journey and his followers if they love and respect him will continue to do so, they may even appreciate him more for being able to do this. If someone reads this talkback and knows Rav Elon please pass my words on to him, at least do it for these two boys who unfortunately may develop same sex attraction because of this incident. Having same sex attraction does not make you “gay” it’s something that can be cured or controlled.

Both ways, if it WAS or WASN'T for sexual gratification, serious psychological help is needed for this individual during his stay in prison. I feel icky just reading this.

maybe he's telling the truth. Israeli men hug and kiss each other passionately all the time as a show of affection and camaraderie, and women & girls do the same. None of it is sexual at all....just friendship, encouragement and we're in this together kind of expression. I'm inclined to believe this rabbi.

If anyone, it is the "Imaginary Friend" that has to feel shame for screwing up a simple engeneering problem: + goes to -; male- to- female! What could be more simple?! The trouble with all these Rabbis and all of their followers is that they are told to suppress all their sexual feelings for women as they are growing up, they don't know it is a natural thing to want sexual contact, and even after they marry they are not allowed to see their wives undressed or even touch them as a natural thing. If they had a normal upbringing and were not made to hold back they would not attack people this way.

As a religious person I know that men kiss and hug each other as a show of affection and friendship. It is not at all uncommon to go to a wedding and many men will kiss and hug the father of the chatan or the bride, or the groom himself. It all depends on the circumstances if it is lewd or not.

Never mind the fact that it is same sex, he did this to CHILDREN! It's not a gay issue, it's a matter of pedophilia.

You can see it when you see how he behaves with his listeners during a lecture. He caresses and kisses their faces with tender loving care cuz he sees them as his children. He's just so full of love for the torah and for the individula Jew. These two young men have been encouraged by those who are jealous of Rav Elon's popularity to say these things. I hope justice will prevail.
