1.  I do not understand ....
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.22.12)
This child stopped coming to school. Her family knew what was happening. Yet no one did a thing. Her "father" suggested that suicide would be a possible solution to her plight. We really have to get these "people" out of our midst. They poison us by their very presence. I hope this child gets all the care and therapy she needs -- and she will need quite a bit of both. I hope her "father" goes to prison for the balance of his miserable existence. Of course, it should be made clear to him that suicide would be an acceptable option. One less monster in the world -- how can that be a bad thing?
2. Wait a minute here.
Golani ,   Vineland, NJ?Israel   (01.22.12)
I felt sorry for the 20 year old girl at first until she mentioned that she felt like a Palestinian prisoner. Does she mean that she was given 3 square meals a day, allowed time to exercise, time and the ability to study and complete a college degree, given complete excellent health coverage and more after being convicted of terrorism, murder and more and then released? I think that the Palestinian prisoners held by Israel have it a lot better than she did. I would perhaps call her terrible case "slavery".
3. It is strange
(01.22.12)
how a young girl isnt missed by school teachers, neighbors etc...but then it may be aceptable that she doesnt go to school, and neighbors dont interfere, even in Quaqilia. Her father is less than human, a disgrace to humanity as are all those that do these terrible things towards children. I am sure her mother must have be so scared of her husband, as many are. I cannot what this poor childs life was and she now has a long way to go until she will be mentally ok. This sort of crime happens in democratic countries, by educated people, not just by the ignorant and dominant
4. British Airways are good but always felt I
Peggy ,   UK   (01.22.12)
should fly El Al. So what do we do now weak bladdered people?....not only babies will have to wear "Pampers"! The crew will have fun keeping those loo's clean with a full plane load!
5. Gotta wonder what article #4 was reading
Joe ,   Ohio, USA   (01.22.12)
Either that or we have just one more loon off their meds on the page
6. Sick bastards!
Nina ,   NYC   (01.22.12)
The entire family should be charged and locked up for a longer period, not just the father.
7. Felt like "pal prisoners"? Send her back home
Inetfraud ,   USA   (01.22.12)
Leave it to the swindling Arabs to coach an abused woman to make such a stupid statement. Anyhow: why the hell should prisoners be treated as equals with all the bells and whistles!? Afterall, uh, aren't they in PRISON!? Aren't they CRIMINALS!? Don't they have a debt to society to PAY!? Yeah...prison: it stinks. It's supposed to. Shame on her for the comparison: this was an ARAB FAMILY DOING THIS TO THEIR OWN DAUGHTER/SIBLING!!! The Jews had nothing to do with it. Apparently she suffers from brain damage.
8. #5 Joe - She's not a loon.
Devorah   (01.22.12)
She was reading this article which is still on the home page under "Culture, Lifestyle & Health" as I write this. http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-4177433,00.html
9. #1 Sarah B
Avi ,   Israel   (01.22.12)
By your logic Sarah, we should get most of our "Rabbis" out of our midst for their involvement in countless sexual misconduct. Don't you think?
10. To: No. 9
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.22.12)
Sexual abuse is not the same as unlawful imprisonment for a decade. Are you truly that stupid? But yes, both are crimes. Both should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. The difference would be sexual abuse as opposed to depraved indifference to human life and encouraging termination of life. Do you REALLY want to argue law with me? You may wish to think twice about that. I'll win that one, sweetie. Guaranteed. You're not that smart.
11. Did she get WHOLE roasted chickens, and congugal visits and
Go figure ,   USA   (01.22.12)
a cell phone, and a free college educations, and lots of time to exercise..... ALL OF NICE THINGS that "Pal" prisoners get? Palis do this to their own blood but it's still Israel's fault.
12. #4 commenting on wrong article
Chaya ,   Bat Yam   (01.22.12)
Peggy, this isn't the article about ELAl eliminating (pardon the choice of words) one of is bathrooms. But you're right - sounds like wearing Pampers will be in order! But concerning this article - which is also about a bathroom - didn't the school go to the house to what the problem was??? Didn't relatives inquire as to what was going on??? This is a very strange story!
13. Sara # 10, #1
Debbie ,   Israel   (01.22.12)
Sara, after reading your reply to Avi. I don't care if you know law or not. Try being a moral person. What I want to know is who are these "people"? Remember Marie-Charlotte Renault and Ronny Ron are Jews.
14. # 7
Birdi ,   Israel   (01.22.12)
The real question here should be, she was imprisoned in the bathroom from the age of 11-20. How does she know about how her pallie brothers are treated in prison? Did she learn that from the radio her disgusting father gave her?
15. Justice
(01.22.12)
Every time I think about human justice system I laugh. What will this "father" get? A few years of imprisonment where he will be considered Holy in the end since he is an Arab in Israeli prison?))) This guy deserves a little more than that...I only hope he will end up in the hands of some more cruel beings than modern judges.... Empty hope, but still... And those one shouldn't let him die!
16. Felt like a Palestinian *prisoners*
Rachel   (01.22.12)
I feel sorry for her and the trauma she has had to endure for years at the hands of her abusive father, but how dare she compare her situtation to those of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails? People who blow up buses, shoot people just driving by in cars, and stab babies to death are evil and violent and belong in prison.
17. #13
observing jew ,   Eilat, ISRAEL   (01.23.12)
do not bother with the likes of Sarah B. she is an america firster. until she lives here, bleeds here, pays taxes here, she is just like any other jew enjoying the galut. and clearly she needs to brush up on her knowledge of the meaning "lashon hara"
18. #15 Question: Prison in Israel?
Rachael ,   Alaska   (01.23.12)
They are located in a Palestinian city, does the West Bank not have prisons to send this man (and hopefully other co-conspirators) to? On a side note, this says a lot about the radio in West Bank, even if you are completely removed from society you will be anti-Israel if that is all you listen to.
19. To: No. 13
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.23.12)
Ronny Ron is Jewish. Ms. Renault is not.
20. Ugh. They inject politics into everything to bash Israel.
Vlad   (01.23.12)
21. something is fishy with this story
Bernard Ross ,   st anns bay, jamaica   (01.23.12)
22. Qalqilya woman
peter de koning ,   Rehovot-Israel   (01.23.12)
I love to read your comments Sarah B.
23. Sarah B.
naomi ,   tel aviv israel   (01.23.12)
I love you and your great comments !!
24. no 13
A Shvitzer ,   Israel   (01.23.12)
Charlotte Renault was definitely not Jewish .

Thank you very much, Peter! Sarah
27. To: No. 17
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.23.12)
I split my time evenly between the United States and Israel. I pay taxes in both countries. In fact, I am willing to bet that I pay more in taxes to Israel in one year than you will ever earn in your miserable lifetime. And four times more annually than you will ever earn in your miserable lifetime in taxes in the United States. You REALLY need to shut up. That way, no one can accuse you of lashon hara -- as I am now doing. See how EASY that was?
28. #9 Avi
Danny ,   Bet El   (01.23.12)
That's a pretty dumb comment. Also anti-semitic. Anybody guilty of sexual misconduct should be removed from our midst. What difference does it make if we are talking about rabbis or anyone else?
29. Her description of horror sounds more like Shalit's
William ,   Israel   (01.23.12)
If she experienced the same "horror" of "Palestinian" prisoners, she would have been given a university degree, good food, exercise, visits by the Red Cross, visits by her family, access to legal assistance....all the wonderful things required under the Red Cross which Israel adheres to.
30. #17 - most Israeli Arabs don't do that
William ,   Israel   (01.23.12)
and Sarah B did serve in the IDF and supports Israel. Who do you think is more loyal to the State and should be given respect, OJ of Eilat?
