1. Those Sanctions Won't Work In The Long Run
World Citizen ,   the world   (01.24.12)
China and India have secretly agreed to pay for Iran oil with a combination of rupee, yuan, and more importantly, gold. When the other OPEC countries see this arrangement guess what they will wanting for payment? Hint: Not the petrodollar. When that happens the Euro and US$ will crash. The fact is, if the USA does attack Iran it will be because of this and not that Iran has nuclear weapons. It could happen. Many Western pundits are saying that the world is headed for WW3. Of course, the US military command structure is getting fed up with Washington politicians and international banking cartels. Maybe the military and the average American will just say NO to proxy wars for American empire and Israeli hegemony in the Middle East? And even if the USA did fight, do you think the Israelis are going to get off unscathed? I could see Israel being turning into a glass plain by the Russians or Chinese/
2. Those Sanctions Won't Work On The Short Run Either
Ariel Ben Yochanan ,   Kfar Tapuah, Efraim   (01.24.12)
B"H Someone still has to explain to me what connection is there between nukes and economics? Is North Korea's economy booming? The fact is that economy matters only to Western, materialist societies and to thier arrogant "leaders" who think the whole world works the way they think. Well, it is not.
3. Is the European Union also enslaved by AIPAC?
Stephen in New York   (01.24.12)
All the EU states voted to embargo Iranian oil as of July 1. Are all 27 countries pressured into doing Israel’s bidding? Or is it now obvious that Europe is and believes itself to be as threatened by Iran as Israel? Why does Iran now develop missiles that can reach Europe? Why does Iran experiment launching missiles or rockets from cargo ships? Why do Iranian military journals discuss an EMP attack upon the US?

I guess this secret agreement is not so secret as you know of it. And of course the US military command structure is getting fed up with Washington politicians and international banking cartels, although you are the only one who knows this. You prove the point that Israel must at least consider attacking first, as you state Israel will be attacked no matter what. As far as "Israeli hegemony" which reference I take to mean a ME dominated by Israel...a country the size of New Jersey(!); you are right. As right as you are about the 'secrets' you profess to "know".

A Generally Reliable Jewish Source. DebkaFile. Ever heard of it? Check it out at www.Debka.com. The story is on the first page.
7. Just some more cheap political games!
Taz Man ,   USA   (01.25.12)
The only real reason this deadline was given was to assure that Iran efforts succeed. Does it really take five-months to implement these measures? No! The world (cowards) drag their feet, while Israel prepares to go it alone. No problem: God will protect His own. Again, look for those earthquakes, since 90% of Iran is situated on major fault-lines. God bless Israel and His Jerusalem! A Christian Zionist
8. There is no substitute for destroying Iran's nukes.
Chaim ,   Israel   (01.25.12)
Embargoes are of symbolic value only. They won't stop Iran from building nukes. They didn't even stop North Korea from building nukes. There is no substitute for destroying Iran's nukes. Israel must do it and fast.

Thank you, I had not looked at it in a while. Why? Because the site's operators state that [only] 80 percent of what it reports turns out to be true, and that Israeli intelligence officials do not consider even 10 percent of the site's content to be reliable. The information is not picked up in any other news source; they only quote Debka. It remains to be seen if it is true or not. You also "editorialize" in that the site states experts think that China will be next to do so, while you state that this is a done deal. And I rephrase, that as far as "Israeli hegemony" which reference I take to mean a ME dominated by Israel...a country the size of New Jersey(!); this is a figment of your imagination, as trustworthy as Debka (see above).

of oil go through the roof.... in case you haven't noticed....India and China will be buying Iranian oil in gold...which leaves us all up a tree! TATA
12. Who will bust the sanctions?
David   (01.25.12)
I bet you a penny some Isrealis are talking to Iranians right now and arranging for alternate ways for them to sell their oil to EU and make an profit.
13. Not exactly
Matt   (01.26.12)
If it had worked exactly Iran would be facing a Cuba style blockade. That is the next step, it can be achieved by forcing Iran to close the Straits of Hormuz on itself and creating a standoff between international navies and Iran. As both are scared of war that would be the result closing the straits by Iran and a counter blockage by the puss. Legally all ships going to and from Iranian ports can be stopped and searched, under current UN sanctions. As this would take sometime the ships would be forced to seek alternate ports, food and fuel requirements etc. We can turn the Gulf of Oman and Arabian Sea into a maritime car park.
14. It's a con job...all around, but mostly for Israeli's...TATA

17. Sanctions are a useless symbolic gesture.
Chaim ,   Israel   (05.19.12)
Sanctions are a completely useless symbolic gesture. No nation has ever been forced to do anything, or not to do anything, by sanctions. Even poor and weak North Korea built nuclear bombs despite sanctions. Military force is the only option against Iran's Mad Mullahs. Destroy Iran's nukes NOW!
