It's bad enough that hundreds are being killed. And the silence regarding the massacre of 35,000 people in Hamas in the 1970s is truly shocking. But we are in the 21st century. How can these things be happening everywhere? We can go out in space. We can build buildings over a 100 stories high. We can do anything on the computer, but neither religion nor governments have succeeded from keeping everyone fed and safe. And if such is the case, what good is religion or government, both which have failed miserably.

"Hundreds killed " ??? In actual fact ,conservative ,very conservative ,estimates are that 5000 ,yes at least five thousand syrians have been murdered by their leader .The point is that there is silence around the world.

The true number of syrians massacred by their government could well be in the tens of thousands .The point is that nothing is being done and the world turns a blind eye and a deaf ear and merely pays lip service.

Only in muslim nations are children stacked as cord wood, with no one left to bury them? And Russia is a part of their murder. The UN silence is disgusting and fitting in the way they treat the memories of the least equipped to defend themselves. " Even as ye do to the least among ye.' Where are all the wailers, moaners, good samaritans big fat hypocrites now, yes, I mean the ones who bashed Israel and screamed GENOCIDE, when a Gaza was hurt or killed, when Israel finally fought back after years of missiles falling on Israeli civilian populations? They wrung their hands, sobbed and ranted and raved against Israel on all of these internet sites. Where are they now, when Syrian citizens are being murdered in the hundreds by their own government? JUST WONDERING.... I guess they're silent, they have no reason to get involved, or to protest. I mean, there's no opportunity to bash Israel here, so why should they bother????
