1. Perhaps the only answer ...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.31.12)
... is to send the Arabs that pollute our vision elsewhere. Seven decades of unremitting terror have taught us that they are not interested in peaceful co-existence with Israel. The ones that live in Israel and are Israeli citizens have yet to demonstrate that they have even the merest semblance of loyalty to the State of Israel (as distinct from loyalty to the benefits which accrue to them because they live in Israel). What we see are the likes of Tibi and Zoabi. They, along with the hostile Arab population in the West Bank, are what is preventing Israel from fulfilling its vision. Send all of them to any of the 23 Arab countries, or whomever else is willing to take them (arguably a short list, given the fact that the ersatz "Palestinians" have been unceremoniously kicked out of Jordan, Lebanon, Tunisia, Oman, Muscat, Abu Dhabi and Kuwait). Oh well. Perhaps if they found a way to become decent, law-abiding and non-terrorist citizens, they can find a home elsewhere. They have already proven their unsuitability as Israeli citizens. It is time for them to move on.
2. Netanyahu = Obama
BH ,   Iowa   (01.31.12)
3. The future of Likud...
Shalom ,   U.S.A.   (01.31.12)
What is Obama to the U.S. Netanyahu is to the Likud and Israel. He has turned Israel into a banana republic and the Likud under his leadership became morally bankrupt. Feiglin must distance himself from this group of cowards and organize an israeli "Tea Party" to save the jewish homeland from the Baraks, Peres, Livni and Netanyahu!
4. omri sharon
alexi   (01.31.12)
with all due respect, ariel sharon did some good things for israel. However, he was dead wrong on gaza withdrawal w ithout securing philadlphia corridor, he was dead wrong to listen to olmert and weisglass, one a lawyer with no understanding of miltary, and the other lawyer, a poliitical delusional smart ass. That omri is helping livin, an olmert twin and a real idiot, I mean stupid who stammers endlessly saying understanding, proves his own blindness. He would work on arafat's campaign, he is a man wihtout conviction.
5. vote for feiglin its not too late
marcel   (01.31.12)
aside from religion, feiglin has a positive unique and unapologetic view of israel that its people will support. bibi, livni all the others are apologists who will continue doing stupid oslos, making concessions to the arabs who are not trustworthy today, tomorrow or ever. hoping that they will behave like switzerland does not make them swiss. Honor killings, lying, slittng throats, suicide bombing and carnage -this is what they are. How does any mother glorify her son for slittng throats of babies. No this is less than animals. Viote for feiglin rather than bibi who is hesitant, nerv ous and bends to pressure andformms commissions and committees to delay and decide. Also voting for feiglin means getting rid of barak which should be a top goal of all israelis.
6. #2
Avi ,   Tel-Aviv   (01.31.12)
What exactly is your point and how does it pertain to this article? If you want to say something, say it. Having gone to school in Iowa, I expect more from someone there, or do I...
7. first separate religion from state, put rabies in sinagogies
gera   (01.31.12)
Then i speak with you. Free love, open maridge, no religion of any kind, no asdilim seakers and other arabs. This is a country real jews want to have, not your left-cinahoge aliance
8. Wonderful! Pity Such a State Won't Ever Come Out Of knesset
Ariel Ben Yochanan ,   Kfar Tapuah, Efraim   (01.31.12)
9. #6 - The status quo
BH ,   Iowa   (01.31.12)
The same leadership will continue the same policies. Netanyahu will continue the path of appeasement and the destruction of Jewish communities on Jewish land. Netanyahu wants to represent the Likud but many of his policies are in direct opposition to the Likud constitution. Apart from National Security issues he's been fantastic. But without security no other issue matters.
10. Nonsense and absurdity
R Harris ,   London   (01.31.12)
Well, '2 puts it very succinctly: "is to send the Arabs that pollute our vision elsewhere. " The Arabs that pollute our vision! The TBer's words are simply a crude, and vulgur, distillation of the utter drivel and nonsense that the author of this article has been paid to spew upon a virgin page. Look people. Get into the 19th century if not to the 20th or 21st. A state founded upon religion, upon ethnicity, upon devisiveness, with unequal laws for its citizens is utterly doomed to fail. You can go on screeching about covenants etc, but you need to come to terms with facts: People owned much of the land which the new state expropriated. People lived on much of the land which the new state expropriated. The new state promulgated racist laws to keep out the non-Jewish residents and somehow cast a spell of mystical god-given rights to the poor wretches who hawked up on the shores of Palestine and managed to brain-wash/convince them that they had a claim to the land which was superior to that of the people who actually lived there. Mr Feiglin's premises are sickening, wilfully ignorant and a grave and present danger for integration, reconciliation and peaceful co-existence.
11. #1 and Mr Feiglin
R Harris ,   London   (01.31.12)
The TBer and the author both do a merry dance around the concept which brings both of them to the point of orgiastic frenzy - i.e. Jewish Lebensraum. The author can't bear non-Jews in 'his' country and the TBer [#1] expresses opinions so odious that they would be laughed out of any polite gathering of intellectuals and which, in some countries, would deservedly merit a prison sentence of incitement of racial hatred.
12. @#1
Brian ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (01.31.12)
they are here, you are not, all your bluster and talk backs mean nothing at all, just like many others who post here, nothing. Either you are here, or your not. Walk it like you talk it or just shut up already, you rarely know what the hell your talking about especially, when it comes to military matters, and no one cares if your husband was a paratrooper, as a military man and war vet I can tell you there is nothing more infuriating than some hag throwing around her husbands credentials like they are her own, your heart might be in the right place but you really are dumb, there are plenty of decent Arabs here, many serve in the IDF with honor, many have died defending this country, I am as far right wing as they come, but I am sick of your big mouth. Shut up already, that goes for all the, "Zionist" hawks posting from elsewhere, if your not here, than I have news for you, your opinion means less than any non Jew who is, to include even our worst enemies among us, it's that simple.
13. With such friends as MF....
David ,   Haifa   (01.31.12)
who needs enemies? G'd help us.
14. Sarah B
Jonathan ,   MN/US   (01.31.12)
You are aware that there is no realistic chance of legaly deporting the Palestinians, or convincing them to leave. The only way to deport such a large population is to convince another state to take them, and the only answer israel will get to such a request is a no. and if you try to convince to Palestinians to leave you will get a similar answer no matter what tatic you use. the only way this will end is in a one or two state solution (and Jordan renounced any claim to the west bank and its inhabitants of which the Palestinians are a part of back in 1987 so no, Jordan is not a Palestinan state) no matter how much you dont want it to end that way.
15. #11 so when is England going to change?
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (01.31.12)
They are a Christian country that occupies people all over the world and then has the Chutzpah to tell us what to do on our own lands. You are a bunch of racist morons.
16. The Big Picture
Bridget ,   USA   (01.31.12)
Exactly, Sarah. Massive numbers of PA Arabs are provided the majority of territory on the East and West of the Jordan River, both of which had been designated as the only Homeland of the Hebrew/Jewish people? Now find selves separated unto a small, barely defensible portion of the Westside only--not allowed into the East--while the govt. of Israel uproots them there...
17. arab palestine
jeff ,   MIAMI/JERUSALEM   (01.31.12)
jordan is arab palestine historically, and legally.. The Jews must fight to obtain our rights to "The Promised Land" as promised by The Almighty to Abraham. All prophecy has come true, and will come true.. You cannot appease implacable enemies who are sworn to destroy you.
18. The British petulant small-minded antisemite spoke!
Yitz   (01.31.12)
19. And what's Feiglin's fiscal policy?
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (01.31.12)
Where is he going to peg the shekel? What about balance of payments? How will he handle the water crisis? What about foreign trade? So far as we know, those aren't "Jewish" topics so Feiglin isn't interested. The last thing the Likud needs is Feiglin with his whacko concept that Jewish this and that will save us all.
20. #12 Time for a more "DISTANT" perspective? A holiday maybe?
Jerry ,   The Netherlands   (01.31.12)
21. To: No. 14
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.31.12)
You are aware that the Arabs living in the West Bank are Jordanian citizens, and Israel can repatriate them pretty much whenever. Clearly you are unaware that over 70% of Jordan's inhabitants are ersatz "Palestinians." You are equally unaware, evidently, that although Jordan tried on several occasions to rescind its grant of Jordanian citizenship to all Arabs living in the West Bank and their progeny irrevocably, the World Court has stated on each occasion that an irrevocable grant of citizenship is precisely that -- irrevocable. The Jordanians may not like it, but when Israel annexes Judea and Samaria, we are going to send all those Jordanians home. Moreover, Israel is a sovereign state. It can revoke the citizenship of anyone it wishes, particularly disloyal elements of the population. Finally, the ersatz "Palestinians" have had no fewer than three opportunities to opt for a two-state solution; they have rejected each one including, most recently, one which would have awarded them 90% of the West Bank and East Jerusalem as a capital. They chose to start the second intifada instead. Sorry -- the only ersatz "Palestinian" state that will ever exist is Jordan. Take it or leave it. Stop practicing curbside law. You have no idea what you are talking about, and you come across as a complete idiot. (Of course, you are a complete idiot, so no surprise there. You're living up to everyone's expectations. Attaboy!)
22. To: No. 11
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.31.12)
Six wars, all started by the Arabs and won by Israel, must count for something, no? How about seven decades of Arab terror visited against Jews both in Israel and in the Diaspora? Does that mean anything? It has nothing to do with racial hatred and everything to do with reality. Being British, though, I don't suppose you know better. We can send our terrorist elements to you, of course. Isn't that just what you need -- another blown up London tube! You, sir, are an ass.
23. To: No. 12
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.31.12)
I served in the IDF -- with distinction, I might add -- and mustered out with the rank of Rav Seren. What did you do, drive a truck? Shut up. You know nothing about me, so your opinion is worthless. You want to work on your grammar and usage, by the way. They are absolutely atrocious for a native speaker of English. Yeah, truck driver. Definitely.
24. Feiglin means only one thing-
cohen, Israel   (01.31.12)
Turning Israel into a hard-religious state, not different from the one of Iran or Pakistan. The brave, social, unique Israel of the 20 century will be replaced by a primitive and dark place in the 21 century, where women are not allowed to sing, the western world is a threat (just like Iran claims), and being open minded will be considered as treason.
25. #11 Jewish "Lebensraum"?! What a FALSE and SICK comparison.
Jerry ,   The Netherlands   (01.31.12)
26. #10. R Harris: Your multikulti state will flounder
Tom ,   USA   (01.31.12)
We now that most of W. Europe + USA succumbed to the "Cultural Marxist" creed which eventually will destroy your nation. Britain is one of the most ardent supporter of the Islamisation of her land, no wonder the worst, hateful Jew haters are coming from Britain. It has been stated on these pages untold times that Britain is the enemy of the Jews. Nation states survived thousands of years while the mongrels were swallowed up by others. The fact that your kind of murderers were unable to eradicate the Jewish people over 2000 years rests with their strong identity, and belief in their lofty destiny. You destiny is the Sharia in Londonistan, Eurabia.
27. #11 R Harris re "polite gatherings of intellectuals"
Devorah   (01.31.12)
The U.S, EU, the UN, the Quartet and on and on ad nauseum are polite gatherings of so-called "intellectuals" whose only focus is the destruction of Israel. This is not about politeness. It is about the daily struggle for the life of Israel. You are seduced by surface temptations such as politeness and alleged high intellect. Well, that is your problem and reflects your empty soul and bankrupt sense of passion. Might I remind you that Hitler often attended polite gatherings of intellectuals. You know where that got him in the end. If you don't like what we Jews say in defense of OUR country, too damn bad. Then go post your gooey pablum on Haaretz.
28. Likud members must abide by Constitution or leave. Period.
Chaim ,   Israel   (01.31.12)
Feiglin is absolutely correct. His vision is completely consistent with Likud's Constitution. Bibi, on the other hand, betrays everything Likud's Constitution stands for and everything the vast majority of Israelis vote for. Likud was intended to be a vehemently right wing patriotic party. This is what Israel wants and needs Likud to be. When Likud stays true to it's values; it wins huge election landslides. It's time to end tolerance for those who subvert Likud. Likud members must either abide by Likud's Constitution or leave. Period.
29. #22 offensive language
R harris ,   London   (01.31.12)
Not only does yr first talkback absolutely stink of squalid racist thought, but you then turn it into an ad hominem attack. Madame - you know nothing about me but that doesn't prevent you throwing insults. For all I have lived through and seen, nothing will turn me into a disgusting racist who advocates "transfer" which appears to be your ideology - to give a grand name to the pathetic, patronising, condescending, ethnocentric and racist thoughts that you insist upon imposing on the readership. Transferist - yes - that's what your ideas says about you, and as such there's not much difference between your thoughts and those of the vile anti-semites who wanted to expel jews from their countries. However, perhaps you'll try to keep your dialogue here civil, but that's possibly what they call in the US 'a big ask', as a civil tongue seems to be singularly lacking.
30. #21 Sarah B
Tess   (01.31.12)
I wasn't aware of the World Court's decision regarding Jordanians living in Yesha. Do you have references for this? It's very interesting. Something to keep in mind when Jews agonize over granting blanket citizenship for all Yesha Arabs in case the government ever decides to extend Israeli sovereignty there. Thanks.
