1. OMG, Ynet's agenda is so lowly, base
Yitz responds here   (02.01.12)
So Saar's measure is "political" and even "taking advantage of the system to promote political agendas". Oh, that f*ing disgusting cynicism. Of course these "sources" are never political and don't have their 2political agendas" that they want to "take advantage of" to brainwash innocent children with worthless, stale, vapid far-Left Communist dogmas which is arch-typical of nearly the whole educational establishment. Oh Noooo! Normal people need to v*mit.
2. No, they won't
Ehud   (02.01.12)
We, as many other parents will not sign off on any school trip to Hebron, or any other place crowded with messianic fanatics who chose to live in the occupied territories. Saar should concern himself with the lack of sufficient math, physics, biology and chemistry in Israeli schools, the lack of a core curriculum among Orthodox, the underfunding of Arab schools, and the poor PISA results of Israeli kids. If this is below his dignity, he should resign or be transferred to the Ministry for Messianic Tourism for the Underaged

What you call occupied was once the Jewish capitol. Learn your history.

Per Ehud, parents want Saar to concern himself with the lack of sufficient math, physics, biology and chemistry in Israeli schools, the lack of a core curriculum among Orthodox, the underfunding of Arab schools, and the poor PISA results of Israeli kids. He wants to concern himself with the students visiting Hebron. I can't see why he can't do all of the above.
5. #4, Sol, No need to risk lives.
Michael ,   California, USA   (02.01.12)
As a parent he/she wants safe schooling environment in which important subjects can be taught and unimportant subjects omitted. I also am in favor of not risking the lives of Israeli children.
6. All will get to visit as soon as they enlist

9. Time to reclaim Judea/Samaria clearly & eternally.
Chaim ,   Israel   (02.02.12)
Anyone who claims Judea and Samaria belong to anyone besides Jews is either ignorant or a liar. Countless international law experts, including Eugene Rostow, author of U.N. Resolution 22, have incontrovertibly proven Judea and Samaria belong to Israel. Even the P.A. refuses to publicly debate MK Danny Ayalon on this issue, though Ayalon openly challenged them to do so. The sick game is over. It's time for Israel to reclaim Judea and Samaria clearly and eternally.

The Jews living in Hebron are zealots not mainstream jews. They are among the most hardline group settlers. And while I sympathise with jewish yearning for their holy places there is nothing holy about Hebron. It's a miserable place unless some way of living together in mutual respect and understanding is found.
