Neither the Jews nor the Palis will voluntarily leave the country. That's a fact. Both people want to stay, whether they have the right to or not. And so there will only be peace if both people can live free and safe in their own state. If this two-state solution is possible (what the German government obviously thinks), then it was probably a good move in the right direction. If a two-state solution is not possible, then, in the long run, one side will have to try to expel the other side, because you obviously can't live together peacefully in one state; and in this case it is completely irrelevant if Germany upgrades the Palestinian delegation to mission.
