1. It's OK but why can't we build proper skyscrapers,100+floors

2. Uh, why do you need to go so tall?
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (02.03.12)
Washington, DC has lived under height restrictions for decades and the end result is a very "livable" city. Those who wanted to go taller went across the river to Rosslyn and created what became a zone of concrete. Few want to live there.
3. I'm sorry to say, but present Tel Aviv is aesthetically..
Alexander ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (02.03.12)
...speaking really ugly. There is no balance between high rise buildings and low buildings. The city planners should insist on placing the skyscrapers much closer to each other to create this urban effect. The skyscrapers are too far away from each other. On top of that, more parks and recreation areas are needed to make Tel Aviv feel more harmonious instead of being chaotic. And what about building an even taller skyscraper? And honestly, both the current tallest building in Israel - Moshe Aviv Tower, and the planned Eurocom building are both ugly. They can't even compare to the beauty of New York's and Hong Kong's skyscrapers. Either I'm finical or Israeli architechts have no feeling or touch for what is aesthetically appealing.
4. You're right.

5. It looks like a manual bottle opener.

6. What a target for the bad guys!
David ,   Hartford USA   (02.04.12)
Will it be airplane proof? Earthquake proof? I wouldn't want to be on the 60th floor when some jihadi nutjob flies a plane into the 40th. And with all the earthquakes Israel has been having, will it be built to California standards?
7. Raymond, DC is still a dump though. It's all a façade.
Henry from New York ,   USA   (02.04.12)
8. #1 - Imagine a rocket hitting the 30th floor of such a

building during the next war. Even without that problem we have the issue that all such a building is missing is a giant sign that says "plant a powerful bomb here" I don't know if those are the real reasons, but they might be some of the reasons.
9. Residential Building ?????
Marianne ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (02.05.12)
If they can approve and build more office space, why can't they build more housing for the hundreds of thousands of Israelis who were out on the streets all summer protesting for housing???
