31. Are you truly ready for that kind of throw of the dice, #24?
Cameron ,   USA   (02.07.12)
You stake absolutely everything on that staggering gamble.
32. #24 You are a very wise and wonderful man, Mr. Yonatan
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (02.07.12)
May all your hopes and dreams come true as soon as humanly possible.
33. So called nuclear threat !
Robert Corra ,   Sydney   (02.07.12)
The so-called nuclear problem with Iran is not a problem at all. If Iran having nuclear bombs is a problem then surely Isreal and the US should not have them either. This whole situation is being driven by Isreal's desire to militarily dominate the Middle-East. Of course, the US is going along with the whole process. Here in Australia most people recognise that the US is just a jewish colony. America does what Isreal wants. American's need to wake up otherwise they'll be at war / living in fear for the rest of the empires existance.Roberto
34. #21 Cameron and the big dog.
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (02.07.12)
What dog is the Israeli 'tail" supposed to wag after "big dog" is put down? But, we will miss things like the Super Bowl, eh? Go GeeeeeMen !!!
35. #3 Unbelievable
Frank-el ,   Seattle USA   (02.07.12)
You crazy ideas sound an awful like a little man with a postage mustache who lived 70 years ago. And shame on the salivating dogs following this genocidal lead. Hey YNET censors...got genocide?
36. A question that need not be asked, Noodles
Cameron ,   USA   (02.07.12)
If the big dog goes, so goeth the lil sidekick as well. Finis
37. #36 Cameron, a question that does need to be asked.
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (02.07.12)
Your statement regarding "big dog" and "lil sidekick"....is that written in stone somewhere? I would suggest that their separate fates are not necessarily intertwined, even though it may seem that way to the naked eye. But to comfort you a bit, I do believe the US will abandon Israel at a certain point, sooner rather than later. But, like the Pats with a substantial lead in the second half of the Super Bowl, we need to wait until the final play to see how it all plays out.
38. Nuking Iran
jdledell ,   USA   (02.07.12)
This discussion has gotten totally out of hand. I'm surprised that YNET allows talk of killing 70 million people. That is genocide in anyone's book. How a Jew can advocate genocide against another people is beyond comprehension. I am also Jewish and still a citizen of Israel. If Israel ever took such an evil irresponsible step as obliterating Iran with nukes, there would not be a safe haven for a Jew anywhere in the world. First of all, China, Russia, Pakistan or someone else would return the nuke favor to Israel blotting out our country completely. Remember it takes relatively few nukes to wipe out our small country. Please stop this nonsense about nuking Iran and committing genocide It will give Jews a bad name everywhere.
39. The Iranians won't back down and neither will
Sheik rattle & roll ,   USA   (02.07.12)
Israel or the US which leaves us with the only option of war. If the US and Israel strike together the main fighting will be over within a month, or until the entire military establishments of Iran is destroyed. It won't be a picnic, then again we all thought the worst during desert storm and 2003. The US military is five times as powerful though a little war weary. Israel would be battle tested considering it hasn't fought a military to military battle in decades even though Hezbollah did put up a good fight. If the US strikes first it would be easier considering American gets more bang for the buck than Israel. Economically it will be a disaster.
40. Abandon, Noodles?
Cameron ,   USA   (02.07.12)
Perish the thought! The US & Israel be joined at the hip! As long as the many benefits & advantages to the US of maintaining the alliance outweigh the burdens of standing with Israel, the relationship remains Realpolitik firm. Certainly, the Obama years indicate the alliance is not set in granite, but neither does Obama signal that it is truly fractured or on the fade. The resolution of the Persian issue will test that alliance to its very limits though.
41. #40 Good analysis, Cameron.
