1. Me personally?
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (02.06.12)
I would have either told him to f**k off or contacted my ISP provider and told them what was going on. Sometimes I do wonder if there ought to be a minimum IQ level established in order to allow people to own computers ....

The guy is a nutter who broke the law. Don't blame the victims, or downplay what he did by trying to put culpability on these women. This IDF officer is the only one here in the wrong.

Sarah is not blaming the victims. She is saying that the victims did not have to comply with the guy, that they could have complained to their IP provider. Which I agree with.
4. Still blaming the Rabbis protecting ...

I am sure he would not withstand the shock of seeing you in a state of undress. There is a limit you know.
6. To: No. 5
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (02.06.12)
I agree. Not only am I brilliant, but beautiful and sexy, too. Look at your 300 kg wife, and cry your eyes out, loser. Climb every mountain ....
7. Looks like the Rabbis WERE CORRECT!
Riva ,   Israel   (02.06.12)
In a recent article, the Orthodox Rabbis warned against the dangers of the internet and many people didn't hesitate to make fun of this. But here we are. If these girls/women were educated with more modesty such as most NORMAL orthodox raise their daughers, the they wouldn't have fallen victim to the delusion that their COMPUTER is more valuable than THEY-THEIR BODY! and they DON'T HAVE TO SUCCUMB TO BEING CYBER MOLESTED!
8. Sarah B. - they're young girls
North Star ,   Israel   (02.06.12)
He frightened 14 year olds. That's not a matter of intelligence. I'm glad they caught him. It pays to keep an eye on children when they're online.
9. Northstar: Young Kids Are More Tech Savvy
emanon ,   USA   (02.06.12)
I agree that this guy is one sick person, but I'm having a little trouble with the story the way it is written. Young kids are more tech savvy than not so young people. They should know all they need to do is turn the computer off to break the connection. No connection, no virus, then leave the computer off and go tell an adult or their ISP.
10. Tech savvy?
North Star ,   Israel   (02.06.12)
I'm not so sure. Many youngsters know to click very fast and use Facebook and chat programs and other things with ease. But do they really know how it works? Many don't. Does every driver on the street really understand how the engine and all the systems in his car work? I think we often over-estimate the computer understanding of the average youngster. Besides, apart from the tech, what about man savviness? 14 old girls are easily intimidated by male pushiness. He will have told them that their computer is infected already, that by switching it off they will trigger the self destruction of the computer or whatever. It's not difficult to manipulate such young girls and to frighten them. Tech savviness has nothing to do with it.

Good post Sarah.Climb every mountain and I bet he still won't find "it".
12. #10: How Do You Know What He Told Them?
emanon ,   USA   (02.07.12)
How do you know they were told "that their computer is infected already, that by switching it off they will trigger the self destruction of the computer "? Up until that point, your arguments were valid.
13. Many soft mountains out there, too many to climb.
