1. No way maam, your system must be euthanized !
Trumpeldor   (02.06.12)
2. What a joke!
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (02.06.12)
Dorit Beinisch wouldn't know the law if it got up and bit her in her fat @$$. She is an arrogant fool who has always treated the law as if it were her own personal fiefdom. It isn't.
3. by all means from an unelected leftist arrogant elite

4. The problem is that the supreme court
Israeli 2   (02.06.12)
is influenced by political ideologies. The judges may not necessarily be interested in public office, but they have nevertheless their own set of ideological persuasions which will influence their rulings. No difference with the U.S. Supreme court. Israel ought to be different.
5. Beinisch says "independent"; I say "unchecked".
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (02.06.12)
Beinisch says she wants the Supreme Court "remain independent". What she means is that she wants no checks on its power. That would be an outrageous suggestion here in the US, home of perhaps the most respected high court. We of course have several advantages over Israel. We have a Constitution; in Israel they have only Basic Laws and their own sense of "justice". We have separation of powers, while the Israeli court thinks everything falls within its purview. We have checks and balances; Beinisch wants no such limitations on its untrammeled authority. It's no wonder that respect for Israel's High Court has been on a downward trajectory since Judge Barak.
6. beinisch: supreme court will lose its independence- meretz
Meretz ,   supreme court   (02.07.12)
ideals will be gone, but true independence will be there. you are wrong Dorit.
7. We are the ones that need protection
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (02.07.12)
Protection from the Judicial Dictatorship that Beinisch and Barak have installed. Let's start with removing every single judge and getting ones that enforce laws instead of creating them.
8. Sure !!! Arafat Mubarak, Shah of Iran, Ahmadinejad, assad
Robin   (02.07.12)
THEY ARE ALL SAYING THE SAMETHING. JUDICIAL SYSTEM IN ISRAEL IS BAOUGHT AND PAID FOR EU AND LEFT.
9. Beinish, good bye
Larry ,   Los Angeles   (02.07.12)
Beinish, together with Barak, have managed to pervert justice as if Liberals are always correct and the settlers are lackeys to punish. She and Barak have done more to ruin the impartiality of the justice system than anyone. Her concept is that she is above reproach, her decisions may not be criticized and free speech only exists for people who support her. Good riddance to a biased judge.

Your talk back is a true reflection of your "personality". You claim to be highly educated and intelligent but alas time and again you prove yourself to be just the opposite.
