Normally, the U.N. Security Council works very hard for the bad guys. However, the situation in Syria is so extreme that even the Arab League, not known for it's embrace of civil rights, is condemning Syria. Thus even most members of the U.N. Security Council had to condemn Syria's blatant massacre of her own civilians. Yet even this nominal gesture was thwarted in the Council. So what good is the Security Council exactly?

Just a few month ago, the US (AIPAC) vetoed the whole worlds wish to recognize Palestine. When Israel bombs Lebanon or firebombs Gaza, a US (AIPAC)support veto is certain. israel manipulates the UN no less than Russia.

When UNESCO, a bodypart of UN, agreed to welcome the pals as a member into the organization, then they actually confirmed the UN is a joke. The pals are braking most of the rulesand regulations of beeing a member, no borders, no democracy, no solid government, no substance in police/control-units, still using terror against neigboring states.
