Arn. ,   Sweden.   (02.13.12)
When the War starts in the Mideast, the whole of fomer Yugoslavia will be a place of War, Crna-Gora as well. Arn.Sweden.
2. Jews in Montenegro
Avi ,   Jerusalem   (02.14.12)
Mr.Alfandri and Habad Rabbi from Albania are wrong to say there are 1,000 Jews in Montenegro. Every Jew from ex-Yugoslavia knows that in that newly formed country there are less than two-dozen Jews, maybe even less according to Halaha standards. They are not able to form even a minian at least for Shabat! So it is purely a political gest to please the western world!
3. It does help...
Buskila ,   South America   (02.14.12)
evidently it does help that Prince Nicola of the Montenegro heredatary Royal family, who was raised in France is married to a Jewish Maroccan lady. Just for history.
4. @ Avi....
joesay ,   melbourne   (02.14.12)
avi can you only be counted as jewish if you perform minyan and other jewish rituals? or can you be born from a jewish mother and have a jewish soul? that is enough to be jewsih....so there may just be 1000 jews there!
5. Hi Avi!
Ben ,   Montenegro   (12.03.12)
Hi Avi, Shalom from Montenegro. I'm Jew from Montenegro, by mother. I don't practice Jewish rituals, as my many relatives don't. We were not raised to obbey rituals, you can say, we lost Jewish connection, mainly because we still have no Rabby in Montenegro. But, what the hell, we stand with Israel and Jewish people with all of our heart, and it makes us as much Jew as you, moreover human. We had no bitter word with anybody here, Christian, Jew or Muslim. That's what matters! Shalom again!
