31. Israeli incentive
joe ,   uk   (02.10.12)
he is used to snubbing and gets away with it what incentive does he offer unity with hamas ?
32. #3. Palestine is as fictional as Oz and Neverland.
Chaim ,   Israel   (02.10.12)
#3 Wissam. Perhaps you were one of those boasting that "Palestine is coming" in September 2011. Wissam, I hate to break it to you but Palestine has never existed and never will. It is as fictional as Oz and Neverland. This land is ours forever. No amount of wishing and wasting time will change this.
33. #3 - we could say the same thing to you, too
William ,   Israel   (02.10.12)
After all, the ethnic cleansing of Jews from their land in Judea / Samaria and Eastern Jerusalem in 1949 was never forgotten, and the statute of limitations on this war crime has never expired. Nor has the fact that the West Bank was flooded with foreign Arab immigrants between 1949-1967, itself a war crime. We're interested in a just peace, which means your inability to wage war again and recognizing that whatever future sovereignty you have stops BEFORE the 1967 lines, and recognizing a Jewish State. Your leadership has so far rejected all of these points. We could go further and demand 1949-1967 Arabs be repatriated to Jordan, Arabia, Syria, etc. under Intl law, so watch your step. You never were in as a good a position ever in history as you were in 2000 with Clinton - and you blew that.
34. #24 - not true - Oslo Accord and Madrid came from Egypt peac
William ,   Israel   (02.10.12)
The "Palestinians" agreed in Madrid to peace talks which led to Oslo Accords, which Israel entered and accepted all and more concessions that the PA is demanding today. However, the "Palestinians" broke that Accord both by admitting they were never in it for a 2-State solution, and they never upheld their obligations, even to this day. That negates the Oslo Accords but does not negate the Egyptian peace. As long as both Pallys and Israelis work towards peace in some fashion, the Egyptian Peace deal holds. Your claim that the onus is 100% on Israel is wrong. Go read it. Finally, under UNR242, where the land is DISPUTED and not occupied, it only states that a negotiation shall result in 2-States, that Israel's security is paramount (for a just and lasting peace) and 1967 lines were never mentioned as a border nor a basis for a border - as reiterated by the resolution authors on no less than 3 occasions. Regarding Israel's presence near the Egyptian border with military, that was agreed upon by Egypt in an addendum, not unlike the addendum that allowed additional Egyptian troops in Sinai to combat Hamas smuggling.
35. PA rejects Israeli incentive
Jason Gavin ,   United Kingdom   (02.10.12)
I understand good relations between neighbours is important to avoid wars e.g. EU created to stop future European wars, however courting Palestinians will not aid Israel in getting peace, ever. Friendship is dependent upon a common desire for peaceful co-existence and future prosperity with mutual respect and similar values. Why negotiate and pander to these Arabs, when peace has never even been on their agenda and their religion forbids allowing any other cultural / religious group to exist! Example #3.
36. ''ISRAEL'', THE ''ISRAELIAN'' PEOPLE, THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE
A WONDER-S.R. ,   MULTIVERSE   (02.10.12)
AND SO ON... VIVA TO THE ''ISRAELIAN'' PEOPLE, THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE, THE PEOPLE OF JEWISH ORIGIN, TO EVERY OTHER PEOPLE A.S.O...
37. Enough already!
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (02.10.12)
The ersatz "Palestinians" have never been serious about peaceful co-existence with Israel. It is time for Israel to recognize this and put an end to the farce once and for all. Complete and total annexation of Judea and Samaria; repatriation of its Arab residents to Jordan or, if they prefer, to Gaza. Six wars and seven decades of ersatz "Palestinian" terror have been more than enough. The world will bluster and bluff for a day or two and then move on to deal with far more critical issues. Europe will doubtless cry the loudest, but Israel can dangle those huge natural gas finds off the coast of Haifa. Once both those fields are fully operational, you will see a lessening on the stranglehold that the Middle Eastern oil producing states have on the world, and an increase in the world's use of natural gas. Let the Arabs and the Iranians melt back into their natural primitive state, until the sand buries them oil. Oil just won't be all that important anymore. And no one will give a fig about the ersatz "Palestinians," either.
38. To: No. 3
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (02.10.12)
We KNOW that the ersatz "Palestinians" are not interested in a two-state solution; they never have been. You could have had your "state" (what a joke!) on three separate occasions, but rejected all three offers including, most recently, one which would have awarded you 90% of the West Bank and East Jerusalem as a capital. You want only to supplant Israel, and that is never going to happen. I guess losing six wars and engaging in seven decades of unrelenting terror have taught the ersatz "Palestinians" NOTHING. And NOTHING is exactly what you are going to get. Israel will annex Judea and Samaria, and repatriate your sorry asses to Jordan. Hey -- war is hell. There are consequences to aggression; they usually aren't terribly pleasant. As you will shortly discover. Israel has no physical presence in Gaza. We have no interest in Gaza, save for the fact that it is a launching pad for terrorist missile attacks upon Israel. But make no mistake: if we have to, we will take back Gaza, and send its inhabitants off to Egypt. We're kind of fed up with all of you.
39. Re: My post at No. 37
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (02.11.12)
The fifth line of the second paragraph, fourth word in, should be "of." The last word in the penultimate sentence of the second paragraph should be "all." Sheesh! Apologies to all.
40. What happen to the Old Days?
Aharon   (02.11.12)
When Israel would use tanks to keep the PA (Arafat) in the PA offices? What Israel should do is hold Abbas in the offices until he agrees to peace talks. If after significant time, he still doesn't agree, esh!

PETER SM ,   AUSTRALIA   (02.12.12)
one of you adfmit it in English while your useful idiots never look at Palestine media watch or MEMRI,to see what you really mean, in Arabic. Its all there iin your OFFICIAL maps and your" moderate" PA charter. Which clearly says you are Arabs, so lets cut the pretense.

BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (02.12.12)

Galut ia ,   Selah   (02.12.12)
They want ALL of what is Israel today...whether in slices of a 2 state solution via the Hudna concept. or all of it by conquest...NOTE all maps produced by arab/moslem sources do not label it Israel but rather palistine...they have no plans to let Israel exist ! they may pretend for the sake of Hudna and propaganda...if folks are dumb enough to accept it.
