All please pray.
2. I can't wait to see the Israeli technological response to
meir elazar   (02.13.12)
this. And it is not very difficult to design and implement.
3. Not that I don't wish her well and that this wasn't horrible
Henry from New York ,   USA   (02.13.12)
However, all the article says is that she acted quickly and saved herself. She may have been quick and fortunate, but no act of saving yourself can make you a hero. Calling her a hero seems strange. Did they mean to say that she saved the driver?
4. I HOPE THAT MRS. TAL YEHOSHUA KOREN WILL RECOVER FULLY. I WA
A WONDER-SJOERD R. ,   MULTIVERSE   (02.13.12)
WANT TO WISH HER HEALTH, SUCCESS, PROSPERITY.
5. # 3
Birdi ,   Israel   (02.13.12)
She saved herself from death, if that's not an act of heroism, I don't know what is.
6. #5 - It's an act of self-preservation.
Henry from New York ,   USA   (02.14.12)
An act of heroism usually means saving another.

I suppose if you have nothing else to take pride in you might as well try to pride in someone who happens to share your religion saving themself.
9. Ms Tal Yehoshuha Koren
Leslie J Paldon ,   Waterloo ,Belgium   (02.14.12)
Henry from NewYork, you could have saved your disparaging comments. Tal was the driver and she IS a hero leslie .
10. Warning
Adam Neira ,   France, Paris   (02.14.12)
Prayers for the injured. If this was another downstream tit for tat attack ordered from on high then everyone must be very careful. What will it be for the region ? Ongoing enmity and fracturing of connections, an escalation and downward spiral into a satanic vortex or will vision, courage and trust building kick in as circuit breakers ?
11. #9 - I'm not dispariging her.
Henry from New York ,   USA   (02.14.12)
I'm taking issue with the article's author using a word where it doesn't apply. I'm glad she's okay, but you're only heroic when you help someone else as well.
12. Attack in India
graczek ,   Maryland, USA   (02.14.12)
I congratulate Mrs. Koren on her fast reaction time and her ability to escape with moderate injury, from which she will, hopefully, fully recover. But one should note that this attempt also is for reprisal against Israel attacks on Iranian scientists, for example. Mrs. Koren's husband's bosses have awakened and angered a mighty lion when they took on Iran.
13. sick minds
cristian ,   argentina   (02.14.12)
many lords and servants- behind the scenes- think the messiah will come by doing evil and they are killing and destroying everything and everyone, stealing and lying to everyone, making existance knows the hell itself, and the messiah taught to do the opposite to bring the kingdom by chosen the narrow gate which leads to life but there are many sicks minds everywhere
14. #11 - *disparaging

She acted with a clear mind and determination in a life threatening emergency, heroic actions under the circunstances
16. Iran is just returning the killings
paco ,   Canada   (02.14.12)
you have done on its own soil, stop crying like little girls about it and asking for pity. The entire world knows you are lying.
17. JSt, Peace Now, Are You LIstening?
Noah Lev ,   LosAngelesUSA   (02.14.12)
Thank G-d she is alive. Unforunately, the last time the Islamists attacked Jews ( Monbai), they first turtored, then cut off the body parts of the rabbi and his wife at Chabad. Dozens of Indians were murdered as well. India blamed Pakistan, which of course denied who was responsible. Perhaps the same people who killed the Iranian nuke scientist, will be blamed? Oh, Iran's mouthpiece said Israel attacked its own embassies to throw blame. ( similar to the Arabs blaming Mossad for 911-still thought of in their fantasy world). Israel can do little in India, but enhance protection....it can however, tighten its relationship with 1b India (vs Pakistan). Lets be frank, they want US and all of us dead. Peace Now, JSt..are you listening. You might be next, after all, you are still Jews.
18. Response to #2
John J. ,   FL, US   (02.14.12)
Response to what? Even if Iran managed to organize this they are just responding to your terrorist inside Iran and killing their scientists. You didn't think your action will go unchallenged, did you? How stupid of you.
19. #11 - use of words
Benjamin ,   Denver, CO   (02.14.12)
Henry, you are absolutely correct in your definition of a hero. However, the source of the error lies in the translation. The same Hebrew word, gibor, means both hero and brave. The translator used the wrong one. It is very typical to see such mistakes in the papers.
20. Hero wording
Angry Clown   (02.14.12)
Henry has the justification for what he is saying. Hero is by definition someone who saves someone else. The article could have been worded "level-headed". I think that all of you jumping down Henry's throat are foolish. He is not diminishing what she has done, he is merely stating that the title is misleading. It is amazing that she reacted so well, and very likely prevented a tragedy. Now it is time for Mossad to pick up the bill, and give the terrorists a thrill, bound to put them on the chill, perhaps via a lethal pill.

Your comment is the most idiotic I have ever read! You must have a tiny brain!
22. Hey Henry, that goes for Shalit too...Was he a hero
Edithann ,   USA   (02.14.12)
for being captured? When Jonathon Pollard is finally released will he be a Hero too??? I think they already have a street named after him.. TATA
23. to Henry @ 3,5
Jennie ,   Israel/US   (02.14.12)
If you would care to read on into the article and forget for a minute, that she is Israeli, you would quicker understand why she is a hero... If she wouldn't demonstrate vigilance, superior thought process & immediate reaction, who knows how many people could have gotten hurt or killed...Also, her act has warned the terrorists, who planned this murderous act, as well as trigerred investigation and has impacted a whole new motion for finding those, who are guilty of acts of terror and are responsible for them...Which by itself is a lifesaver...
24. no 8
Jennie ,   Israel/US   (02.14.12)
1. The woman was named a hero by the author of the article... 2. She managed to get out of the car, while wounded & to evacuate herself.... You just can't get over the fact, that she had saved herself and prevented a terror act and innocent people being killed. And just FYI, you will never know, nore ever understand how much pride we take for being who we are as a Nation and a Religion.. You are an arrogant individual with an overblown ego.. About Jews saving themselves: Obviously this goes back to Hitlers propaganda...Shame on You!
25. # 8
Birdi ,   Israel   (02.14.12)
And I suppose you are a very lonely, unhappy, bored excuse of a human being who can never say anything positive or kind about anyone. Poor you.
26. # 5
Birdi ,   Israel   (02.14.12)
Well maybe this time you can try to be less rigid.
27. Agree with Henry.
Anna Davison ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (02.14.12)
Saving oneself from death is an instinctive act of self-preservation. Heroism is when a person saves other people's lives from danger. Once it was said, Mrs. Tal Koren is a very brave and resourceful lady and I wish her a brief and full recovery and all the best. Kol Hakavod!
28. i wish her speedy recovery
alsky ,   toronto   (02.14.12)
i guess we shall see more accidents in Iran ? Cant wait ! viva Israel
