The shiite pride is devaluated thos e days..
2. Ships don't cross the Suez Canal only the Atlantic Ocean
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (02.18.12)
They sail through it. Crossing would mean they drove it to Sinai and crossed into Egypt with the parting of the Gulf of Suez which I think is a Children of Israel patent. The last time I looked, warships didn't have wheels! Maybe the wheeled destroyer is an Iranian invention? Perhaps the Americans should build an amphibious aircraft carrier?
3. symbols
cristian ,   argentina   (02.18.12)
nations around the world have symbols that speak for themselves, the lion in israel, the dragon in eastern countries, the bull in spain, the swords in the arab countries, the stars of the gains in the united states, all symbols of brute force, ego and power while my country is the symbol of the sun, representing the light of life, why will always take us for fools good? the good in this world is weakness

The Supreme Liar and his Mad Mullahs demonstrate once again just how demented they really are.
6. Displaying Peace??
paul ,   UK   (02.18.12)
Since when does it display peaceful intentions by showing military 'might'?? what kind of twisted reality do they live in. It is nothing else but provocation. It is almost as if they wanted israel to attack so they come out clean when they try to wipe israel from the planet. they will then call it retaliation .... what a bunch of cowards ... please world, unite and get rid of this insane leader and protect Israel. Budget cuts that prevent the purchase of the necessary amount of Iron Dome batteries doesn't really help, does it?I pray that the EU and UK wake up and take the necessary measures ....
7. weapons for nasrallah
mehrdad ,   germany   (02.18.12)
they will bring nasrallah tons of weapons and give him even more tools to kill jewish women and kids. israel should intercept them and search their cargo! after all the mullahs are in WAR with israel and that justifies such a action of israel.
8.  “A message of peace and friendship”
Zeev, Haifa   (02.18.12)
As “a message of peace and friendship” on OUR part, I herewith suggest that our Israeli authorities publish an official invitation to these Iranian vessels to visit Haifa port, and offer the Iranian naval cadets a day of fun in our city. Prsonally I would gladly invite two of those youngsters for lunch, together with two of my army-aged grandchildren. I would tell them about the enjoyable days I spent in Teheran some 35 years ago, together with my family...
9. INTERCEPT THE SHIPS!
Efroim ,   Baltimore   (02.18.12)
10. KooKHOMAINEI doesn't realize or care, HOW STUPID he looks...
jewishness ,   ATLANTA GA USA   (02.18.12)
what a stupid MORON! He sends his PADDLE WHEEL "navy" to show his "stregnth", but it only shows his complete ignorance of reality... Saddam had the 4th largest army in the world, it took 16 days to completely destroy...how long do you think Iran's 1980's russian built garbage pile of an army will last? Get CNN news choppers in there to allow them to also surrender. Iran has "home made missiles"... yeah 27 of them. Iran has "special forces"...yeah they blow off their own legs...terrific! Iran is a jew hating theocratic dictatorship...from the backward middle ages, but with their necks in the sand up to their waists. Soon to be gone. With their 190% inflation, 45% unemployment, their rebels pounding at their gates, and the world basically pooping on them. so much for mad man KooKHOMAINEI!
11. That makes even less than a lot of what Akhmadinejad says.
Henry from New York ,   USA   (02.18.12)
The lead ship is a warship, it's not a messenger of peace of any nonsense like that. Two ships, one a supply ship, is no Great White Fleet. It doesn't showcase the might of the "great" Iranian Navy. I wonder if Khameini knows that....
12. Delusional
Malone ,   Hfx   (02.18.12)
"showcases the might of the Islamic Republics holy regime" lolol. One destroyer and a supply ship...gimme a break.
13. World doesn't care about innocent civilians in Syria
JewishHeart ,   Israel   (02.18.12)
If the world cared, it wouldve blown up those two supply ships that sent arms to the Assad government to be used against innocent Syrian civilians.

15. Contraband ship
John ,   Boise, Idaho USA   (02.18.12)
let them unload their Persian rugs and pick up a load of bananas....hahahaha Seriously, without doubt, they are loading on refined nuclear material from Syria, which in turn has acquired it from Russia. So who is fooling who?
16. The retarded islamic republic..
William ,   Beirut, Lebanon   (02.18.12)
... These filthy shiite mullahs and retards so desperately dream to be noticed and are craving attention on the world stage while civilized nations don't want to dirty their hands with their filthy blood and feel sorry for their enslaved citizenry... They will go the way Hitler and Saddam did soon enough...
17. These boats should be stopped and...
Mark ,   Lodz, Poland   (02.18.12)
..searched on their way back through the canal. Who knows what they're picking up from Tartus? Maybe this port is also being used as a conduit for Russian 'nasties'.
18. The result of the visit is only . . .
AlbertoGA ,   St. George, USA   (02.18.12)
As hour friend in #13 said. MORE Arms to kill Assad people faster. Where is the UN, Nato, and the many Utopians ( YES ! ) always ready to talk against Israel...The only Democracy in the ME.
19. #8 Zeev.... That will be 2 saliors going AWOL
meghan ,   israel   (02.18.12)

20. Brotherhood in arms for peace!
Igor ,   Russia   (02.18.12)
Stop the rotten US/NATO which supports terrorists in Syria. Hopefully the ships bring new weapons for defence.
21. #15. Interesting point. Maybe Assad is evacuating all his
Harry Wright ,   UK   (02.18.12)
Russian supplied nuclear material to Iran in readiness for the imminent civil war. That would explain why Russia gave Assad time and a half by its veto. Such a developed and civilized country as Russia could not possibly condone for no reason, the brutal and savage slaughter that is being perpetrated by the Syrian dictator, huh??!! HUH?? Especially as Assad is on his last leg, using chemical weapons against the Syrian population.
22. SCUTTLE-BUTT
POPEYE ,   NJ USA   (02.18.12)
I wonder if these ships will mysteriously disappear into the bottom of the harbor one night very soon.... stay tuned
23. #11: Indeed, Henry from New York but .....
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (02.19.12)
it seems that the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff agrees with the lunatic regime in Iran which he defines as a "rational actor"! Maybe you could call him and clear up his delusional views of Iran? Actually, you could ask the good general if he thinks that the supply ship was bringing sweets and lollipops for the families of those butchered by the other lunatic in the region, Bashar al-Assad?
24. #21 Good comment
John ,   Boise, ID USA   (02.19.12)
The material has to be transported to Iran somehow, since Iran hasn't progressed, as far as we know, to the point of nucleaur refinement. Perhaps the stage may be set for the exchange, although it is detectable, miles away.. Russia, being cash strapped, and oil dependent, would keep the oil lines flowing from Iran in exchange for the veto. When I was in Russia 10 years ago, the "enemy" was whoever the enemy was declared to be in the interest of mother Russia.
25. #23, nope, too busy playing eRepublik now. :3
Heny from New York ,   USA   (02.19.12)
I gave up on US politicians long ago in all seriousness. Most are too concerned with helping themselves or their friends to do anything to help our country.
