I would not dream of belittling myself or the Jewish people by comparing us to Muslims; quite simply from a moral point of view, there is no comparison. We are having to fight people who are expert at lies and distortions which unfortunately people are all too ready to believe. He put his son in a dangerous situation -- deliberately and with malice aforethought -- and then tried to capitalize on his son's death through manipulation of the truth and outright lies. I, for one, would be VERY interested to learn if the boy was mentally disabled. That would make him entirely expendable to his family (probably even perceived as a burden). Sadly, it would not be the first time that an ersatz "Palestinian" family sacrificed a disabled child. But to attempt to capitalize on the death of his son? Al Dura is truly a despicable creature.
