... that Israel shut down the smuggling routes, once and for all? Taking back the Sinai would work.
5. Don't forget!
ProphetS ,   N. America   (02.21.12)
Don't forget that this and all the recent attempted terrorism acts against Israeli targets around the world were foiled by the mercies of G_d. Evil shall not prosper.

of the passerby of the two iranian ships back in the the suez canal and the terrorist attempt this morning on Egypto-israeli border. Probably the work of groups affiliated to Tehran in order to stir a conflict beetween Israel and Egypt. Typical shiite behaviour..
7. again, false flag op

Thanks to Israel's intelligence that unfriendly explosive device was retrieved without detonation. In other parts of the world they detonate it first, that is much less costly. Does the Mossad hint that those were ordinary smugglers incapable of activating the bomb into the standby position.

blocking the Straits of Tiran and the Suez Canal, both are Egypt's sovereign. Egypt will also demand the "safe passage" between Egypt and Jordan, Israel agreed on in the Peace Treaty.

Israel's answer will be: neutralization = detonation

You blocked once the Straits of Tiran. Remember how much time it took to the IDF to reopen the route? Remember the cost for the arabs of Egypt? So much for your "sovereignty"...

Egypt announces that it has increased the weekly supply of electricity to Gaza from 17 megawatt to 22 megawatt without extra-money paid. In the mean time, Egypt has increased its of supply of fuel for Gaza to the extent that smuggled fuel, the major source for generating electricity, has dropped to its half in the last 2 months. Do you know how this Egyptian fuel reach Gaza? via Kerem Shalom crossing. That says it all.
12. I propose taking back the Sinai...

and exterminating all the Egyptian troops that dare stand in the way... If Russia and China dare offer assistance to the soon to be defeated Egyptian army, then our air force should deal a severe blow to Moscow and Peking after finishing off Tehran...

Its easy to play the role of an arm chair General from the safety of your living room back in the U.S. The next time you propose attacking Moscow, Peking and Tehran, I suggest you do it while here with the rest of us who have to endure the consequences.

You had trouble with Hezbollah in 2000 and 2006, yet you believe you could take on Russia, China and Iran? You and what army?

the effective use of anti-tank anti-aircraft missiles deemed Israel defeated. Israel has never won a war since 73.

In 1973 anti-tank and anti aircraft missiles dealt a severe blow to the IDF, but not a defeat. I know perfectly the arab "macho" men cannot bear repeated defeats at the hands of a handful of jewish women and men in uniform but in 1973 the IDF stopped at km101 in the road to Cairo with nothing beetween them and your capital. Only the "egyptian" request of a ceasefire spared you the shame of being the first capital to fall in the hands of Israel. Since then in 1.982 Israel crushed the Syrian army in Lebanon and no arab state dared to attack Israel again leaving to the terror organizations the task of trying to weaken Israel.
18. in 73, the Israeli forces were entrapped
observer ,   Egypt   (02.21.12)
1-suez-cairo road was under the egyptians' control as there were full two divisions 16th mechanized and 4th armored repulsed any israeli forces tried to get closer to the road as the israeli commander who fought the war say. 2-the israeli forces were the forces entrapped as the rear of israeli wedge was under control of the egyptians as Sharon failed for three times to occupy Missouri, which dominated the heights north of the Great Bitter Lake, was important for keeping the yard and bridge out of Egyptian artillery range. Thus the israeli supply lines was under control of the egyptian armed forces. 3-the egyptian 3rd army didn't ever never got entrapped as there were egyptian forces controlling southern of the bitter lakes and was able to repulse the israeli for many times and thus the 3rd army entrapped the israeli not the israeli entrapped the egyptians . 4-Two egyptian divisions were assigned to repulse the israeli beside the egyptian 1st field army was behind them and didn't joined the battles yet. 5-It was estimated by Israelis that the 3rd army was 30000 man with 300 tanks and 300 artillery pieces. Sharon division lost most of its power and only less than 100 remained for him and Magen division was only 80 tanks. Adan was the one assigned for the main missions and engaged the main battles which is a fact while Sharon and Magen divisions weren't primary forces which means Adan's losses must be greater than Sharon and Magen divisions , and again less then 100 remained for sharon out of his division which is supposed to be 280 tanks , and less than 80 tanks remained for Magen out of his division which is supposed to be 380 tanks. so is it resonable that those israeli tanks less than 200 tanks were not able to surround an army with 300 tanks beside the 1st field army west of these israeli forces beside those two divisions 16th and 4th which was entrapping the Israelis. Be assured that Egypt wont stop by the Peace Treaty, breached now and then by Israel, like in 1982.
19. 18- Blah blah blah
Bergkamp   (02.22.12)
You the arabs think that everything is about the numbers, if you havemore soldiers you will ultimately prevail over Israel, if you have more children you will defeat the West from within, etc. Bad news: despite your war fiction about what happened in 73 Israel has been always under equipped, under armed and outnumbered by the arabs yet managed to beat you at every instance. It wasn{ t until the 90s that Israel had the upper hand technologically while you re a 7th century society goose fed with state of the art armaments that you barely know how to use. The only interesting thing about your message are the last couple of lines: "Be assured that Egypt wont stop by the Peace Treaty, breached now and then by Israel, like in 1982. " Which means that you can never trust whatever paper an arab-muhammadan country or community signs. Therefore it is time to recover the Sinai and let you tell the fairy tale to your children how you won the next war but lost the territory and three quarters of your army.

in all wars even in the 1948 war, Israel's troops outnumbered Arab ones
21. #20 - You're usually good at repeating researched facts
William ,   Israel   (02.22.12)
but in this case, you're just outright lying. Israeli forces in 1948 were out-manned, out-gunned, and under-trained. And we still won. Until today, Egypt has more military personnel than Israel. Add to that Syrians and Jordanians which joined in almost every other war on Israel - and you still lost. It isn't numbers that make the difference - it's brains. And, you're quite outnumbered by the Israelis there.
22. #15 - was there any wars after 1973?
William ,   Israel   (02.22.12)
According to analysts, there were only limited skirmishes, which Israel seemed to have won. Israel kicked ass in 1982 in Lebanon, dealt with local uprisings by "Palestinian" terrorists in 1987, 1995, and again in 2000-present. Israel kicked major ass in 2006 in Lebanon and 2009 in Gaza. And despite these skirmishes with Arabs, no Arab nation felt the desire to join the foray against Israel, which really pissed Nasrallah off to no end. So, let's see the results. Peace deals with Egypt and Jordan are still holding, "Palestinians" are still far from a State and in massive disarray, a blockade still exists on Gaza and was recently justified by the US, Nasrallah still hides in his cave but doesn't dare attack Israel, and Turkey, for all its bluster, hasn't lifted a finger against Israel. So, while it may not be an official military war, Israel certainly is winning the war of attrition pushed on her.
23. #14 - Will Russia and China be hiding behind civilians?
William ,   Israel   (02.22.12)
or will they leave those war crimes to the Arabs, like Hizbullah and Iran?

Israel: Arab troops = 55000-56000 : 31500-44500 Haganah had a mobile force, the HISH, which had 2,000 all time fighters (men and women) and 10,000 reservists (all aged between 18 and 25) and an elite unit, the Palmach composed of 2,100 fighters and 1,000 reservists. The reservists trained 3–4 days a month and went back to civilian life the rest of the time. The Yishuv's total strength was around 35,000 with 15,000 to 18,000 fighters and a garrison force of roughly 20,000. The two clandestine groups Irgun and Lehi had 2,000–4,000 and 500–800 members, respectively. the Yishuv had the additional forces of the Jewish Settlement Police, numbering some 12,000, the Gadna Youth Battalions, and the armed settlers. Those made 55000-56000 troops. Arabs =15,000 to 18,000 Iraqis+ 10000 Egyptians (20000 by second truce) +12000 Syrians + 3500 Lebanese = 31500-44500 troops. The Israel army increased its manpower from approximately 30,000 or 35,000 men to almost 65,000 during the first truce http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1948_Arab%E2%80%93Israeli_War
