1. Nonsense

2. Also add censorship of all your stupid articles....
(02.22.12)
How do you equate people living on Jewish lands that were built with the help and funds from the Israeli Government? Do you think that Migron are a few shacks hooked up to a generator? They are homes with the same infrastructure you have in your N. Tel Aviv Apartment. They were hooked up to the central grid. How did that happen? The Governement FULLY backed the construction of Migron because there was no evidence that it was anything but state lands. NOT ONE Arab claimed this land as their own until Peace NOw came into the picture. So dont make an equvalancy between the two. You are just making a fool of yourself.
3. where was Asaf Gefen when MURDERS were let out of prison
Moshe ,   Rehovot   (02.22.12)
is the author OUT OF HIS MIND ??? Israerl has let thousands of terrorists out of jail (e.g. for 'confidence building' with 'moderate' Abu Mazen) over the past 20 years. As they are freed, they become HEROES in death-loving Palestinian society, and never need to work a day in their life again. Many, if not most, retrun to terrorism. But when it comes to "settlers," all of a sudden Asaf Gefen is worried about giving a 'kosher stamp" MORE LEFTIST HYPOCRISY
4. End racist restrictions on Judea/Samaria building.
Chaim ,   Israel   (02.22.12)
The author has it all wrong. The ONLY reason for restrictions on Jewish building in Judea and Samaria is because of religion. That is blatantly racist. Restrictions on Jewish building in Judea and Samaria should be illegal.
5. Israel already allows murder and kidnapping
Mordechai   (02.22.12)
Any Arab who murders a Jew knows that he will be released as soon as another Arab kidnaps a Jew and holds him hostage in exchange for the release of thousands of killers. I notice the author never condemns releasing muslims who kill Jews.
6. Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Asaf Gefen is either a

complete meshugene or a on his way to shigaon. Asaf! What in the world has got into you? How can you compare the right of ownership of land that belongs to Israel stretching from Iraq to the Mediterranean to the legitimization of sexual harassment?
7. Jews OWN Israel from G-d, outposts are LEGAL.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (02.22.12)
8. I thought this had to do with kashrut.
Henry from New York ,   USA   (02.22.12)
Stop misuing the term, "kosher". Despite what some dim-witted journalist might think, it niether makes you look cool, nor does it make you clever (non-British use) or even intelligent.
9. illegal? why?
Larry ,   Los Angeles   (02.22.12)
Why are such outposts illegal any more than all the building on the Palestinian occupied territory that is perfectly ok by the Pals? It is only illegal if we declare it so, and if we declare it legal like the Pals do to theirs, there is nothing wrong with making new settlements or cities. Let the Arabs eat their own lies before we accept their lies as fact!
10. Please explain
Abraham Nachmias ,   Petach Tikva IL   (02.22.12)
Why does the author asume that building Migron is a wrong? Based on what? Isn't assuming things don't caring about studying legal reasons a big wrong? Please Assaf, you are 200% biased!
11. Same logic
Observer ,   Jerusalem , Israel   (02.22.12)
Why not kosher pork, its animal protein just like beef.

13. freedom of speech
tiki ,   belgium   (02.22.12)
Everybody is entitled to an opinion, but if this op-ed writer thought to bring some substance on the subject with this piece, he failed miserably. What utter nonsense.
14. Want to talk about legality?
Aviela ,   MIGRON, ISRAEL   (02.22.12)
Why is it legal to bow to Peace Now, largely non-Israeli-funded pressure to legitimize and destroy a community established legally, on good faith? Private land? Nothing was farmed here -- no navigable connection between the villages and Migron. The kids needed to use pick-axes to chip through limestone to plant anything on Tu B'Shvat. OH... but what has happened here so far from the side of the government is legal? Breaking through windows in the middle of the night, with no warrants or paperwork into homes with children sleeping? Destroying their belongings? Improper speech and touch toward a woman? Not allowing emergency medical services through? The terrorization of children? This is legal?
15. Asssaf,resign,you are outnumbered and hopeless
trumpeldor   (02.22.12)
16. mr geffen is right...
david ,   Israel   (02.22.12)
yup, I said it...he is perfectly right. how can we possibly legalize building in territory that he, nay, the palestinians deem to be theirs. not only that, we must destroy every home that exists there - except, of course, those belonging to the peaceful arabs and palestinians who wouldn't hurt a jew or israeli if only there was no illegal building. but you know, mr geffen is right that that isn't enough. next we have to drive straight up the road from the west bank settlements and destroy all other land claimed by the palestinians to belong to them. so, mr geffen, i'm not sure if you live in jerusalem or tel aviv or haifa or anywhere else in israel, but you should be the first to volunteer the destruction of your home and property because that land is surely claimed by the palestinians to be theirs and by your logic that makes your home illegal. so, mr geffen lets go your way and declare all land claimed by the arabs as illegal israeli outposts, destroy everything that we have spent blood sweat and tears to build for the last 70+ years and stop legalizing what should clearly be "illegal".
17. what does legal mean?
Leah G ,   Israel   (02.22.12)
What does legal mean? Was Gush katif legal with 4 generations living there for over 30 years.> It suddenly became NOT LEGAL.... What do get out of selling your soul , out of an agenda of hatred of your own people and your own land and i assume your own torah, your own identity.- maybe the land will vomit you out- you don't care for it- it';s obvious- It won't care for you!
18. Mr Gefen
BH ,   Iowa   (02.22.12)
Your Arab masters view your comfortable modern apartment in N Tel Aviv as no less "occupied" as three thousand year old "settlement" Hevron.
19. # 14
Birdi ,   Israel = Jewish land   (02.23.12)
No Aviela its not legal. The government allowed you all to build your houses on the land of Migron & now they tell you you are living on land that does not belong to you. Go figure! You need to keep posting all over news websites to get the truth out. It is heartbreaking & sad to be in your situation. Dont give up, keep fighting for your rights to live on our land in Migron. Good luck to you & yours.
20. Not Farmilliar
Not Pro-Pali ,   US   (02.23.12)
I don't know Asaf's writings but I have to say that his points are valid and I don't wish to eat "kosher," food from crazy people who are almost as crazy as their Palestinian neighbors. I'm not a fan of any extremism Islamic or Jewish. However, if someone could fair trade certify and check a place for proper integration and cooperation I might buy it. That is more kosher to me.
