Israel has breached the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Turkey is seeking recovery of the deposit it has paid to date and compensation for the delay caused in procuring the surveilance equipment. Italy and Turkey's ASELSAN have agreed to supply an alternative system to the Turkish Air Force but it will take 2 years from the date of contract. The matter will have implications on Israel's relations with the World Trade Organisation. Israel did not declare war on Turkey nor did Turkey declare war on Israel hence Turkey could not be declared a beligerent nation by Israel and hence justify Israel's cancellation of the contract.

Some claim they not care, but don't forget there are many reasons Turkey is frustrated, among them it's new inability to reverse-engineer on Israeli capabilities and pass it on to its new jihadist masters. Now turkey will have to use either inferior, more expensive and irrelevant technology to its Israel-spying needs. So let them buy German, Russian, whatever stuff they need. It will never have the value they're really after, and that's good for Israel.
