1. Isn't this what the Left has always wanted?
William ,   Israel   (02.23.12)
Many called for a Bi-national State. Well, here's the initiative for one. They claim it will make "occupation more comfortable". Well, after its annexed and "Palestinians" there are given citizenship and the rights therein, it's not occupation anymore, is it? The Left is so married to their "occupation"-speak, they can't divorce from it no matter what the outcome on the ground is. I dare say, even with a 2-State solution, this type of Leftist talk about occupation will never end.

dribble.
3. Why is Yariv Oppenheimer against the plan?
Michael Redbourn ,   Arad Israel   (02.23.12)
4. They contradict themselves
John ,   NZ   (02.23.12)
If "Bennett's plan is a failed attempt" then why are they fighting against it?
5. oppenheimer and peace now
alexi   (02.23.12)
teh coming 3 wars will solve the problem of arabs occupying judea and samarias. Lets see what oppenheimer has done for us. hezbollah on the northern border with over 200 israeli dead. 10,000 rockets from gaza for withdrawal. knife, gun, suicide and tractor terror in jerusalem and west bank in return for oppenheimer endorsed concessions because of demographic argument. So oppenheimer's prescriptions are worthless and worse than garbage. Imagine golan in the hands of marwan assad(the real power syria). Not only oppenheimer, but barak, baidetz, ashkenazi, halevy were alll dead wrong about golan and syria. ''Generals are among the worst national and political leaders as they have no national conviction for the state. Rather, all arabs injudea and samaria should be educated on how they occupy israeli land and should be asked to leave voluntarily or get the hell out.
6. Israel has already suffered too much under lunatic left.
Chaim ,   Israel   (02.23.12)
Not only is Judea and Samaria our mroe than 3,500 year old ancestral heartland. Not only does Judea and Samaria belong to Jews, as countless international law experts have incontrovertibly proven. As any child, capable of reading a map, can easily understand; Judea and Samaria are necessary for Israel's survival. Israel has already suffered far too much under the lunatic left. Enough of Oslo lunacy. Enough of Disengagement lunacy. Enough of freeing terrorists lunacy. Enough of the left and their lunatic policies.
7. The Arab "population" bomb is a proven hoax.
Chaim ,   Israel   (02.23.12)
As both highly credible American and Israeli demographers have proven; Jews are a growing majority in Israel, including Judea and Samaria. The Arab "population bomb" is a proven hoax. It can't be used to justify ceding Judea and Samaria.
8. Bi National State?
Robert ,   New Jersey, USA   (02.24.12)
Why? Did Arab countries retain any Jews within their borders after 1948. No, they rather impolitely invited the Jews to leave under threat of death Israel should extend the same favors to Arab occupiers of Judea and Samaria so no need for a bi-national state remains.
9. WORLD MUST CONFRONT THE CRIMES BY JORDAN.
BUTSeriously ,   Sydney   (02.23.12)
Either Jordan abides by the only condition of its creation - to house the Arabs of Palestine - or the Balfour Mandate must be restored. Anything else is serving the doctrines of Iran: to destroy Israel. Look here: "IT WILL BE A HISTORIC COMPROMISE TO GRANT 'TWO' STATES IN PALESTINE - 'ONE' FOR THE JEWS - AND 'ONE' FOR THE ARABS" - Churchill. Serial 2-state demands in the same tiny land is genocide. Jordan is responsible for the deaths of 1000's - which Britain calls its chum. Stand up those who are confused.
10. the first election in a Bi national state
avramele   (02.23.12)
Palestinian brotherhood 30% Arab nationalist lists 10% Haredi lists 15% Zionist lists 35% Bi-national secular list 10% Welcome another government coalition with the haredim selling themselves to the highest bidder. If there's a government they'll be in it. Dina deMalchutah = deniros.
11. OSLO WAS A HORRIFIC LEFTIST HALLUCINATION
stude ham   (02.24.12)
annexing judea and samaria redeems the historical thefts of jewish lands. BUIL ISRAEL BUILD!
12. annexation plan
samuel tayar ,   montreal   (02.23.12)
Israel must choose between the option of becoming a binational state and the option of separating from the Palestinians on the basis of the two-state paradigm OR ONE JEWISH STATE.
13. hypocrites
yoni the jew ,   jewish homeland   (02.24.12)
You are trying to tell me that Peace now is behind a Jewish only state? What zionist vision? The only way for Israel to stay a Jewish state is to deport the arabs to Jordan. Even if Israel gives up half the country they will just leave the other half with 25% arab citizens which will continue to grow and eventually Israel will give up the rest. Peace now is playing both sides of the coin supporting the Jewish state while supporting equal citizenship to all Jews and non Jews alike and naturalizing all Arabs with equal rights. We the people must make up our mind
14. I am truly convinced
Paul ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (02.23.12)
that the Left rejoices when Israel's Jews suffer, mourns when they are secure and successful. Sounds like they have joined all the other Zionist Jew-haters that have plagued the annuls of history, and stained the world with their rotten self-serving ideologies. The underlying ulterior-motive of a bleeding heart for the Palestinians is a genocidal wish for Jews, Gd, religion and divine morality.
15. These lefties must be on "hallucinatory" drugs !
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (02.23.12)
ALL of Judea and Samaria are Jewish land and nothing else !!!!!!!!!!!!!
16. Give Palestinians israeli citizenship? And then what?
Gregg ,   Haifa IL   (02.23.12)
They will still be citizens of second (and third) zone.... israel is unable to face the fact it's not Jewish to the sense it would like it to be, but has minorities that she cannot perpetualy ignore
17. And giving Hamas a state isn't hallucinatory?
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (02.23.12)
To Oppenheimer's regret, there is no possibility of a two-state solution. The Palestinians refuse to negotiate, and instead are mending fences and forming a unity government with Hamas. Hamas is on the record, repeatedly and very, very clear: They will "never" make peace with Israel and they will never accept peace negotiations. So a Hamas-Fatah government means the death of the peace process. However, Peace Now can't realize that and insists that Israel has no choice but to accept a Hamas state in the West Bank (nobody expects Fatah to win the next elections) and subsequent rockets on occupied Tel Aviv. Yes, Palestinians including Fatah say that Tel Aviv isn't Israel - it's ocuppied Palestine and the occupiers have to go back to where they came from. The Palestinians say that is Europe. The rest of us know that Jews come from ....Israel. Peace Now has trouble with that too.
18. SECURE BIG ISRAEL, nonviolent transfer, BALANCE, time, peace
Jerry ,   The Netherlands   (02.24.12)
19. Left: "Annexation will lead to a bi-national state"
Jake ,   USA   (02.24.12)
No it won't. It will lead to one strong Jewish state, with autonomous Palestinian enclaves. Those enclaves will eventually be administered by the Palestinian central government in Amman.
20. #19 Jake is right
Yossef   (02.24.12)
21. Annexing 50,000 Arabs leads to binational state?
Kolumn9 ,   Jerusalem   (02.24.12)
Peace Now has lost its marbles since the desire of the Palestinians to actually have a two state solution has been proven a hoax. There is no shortcut here. This plan is simply the codification of a situation that already exists on the ground. Israel controls 62% of the West Bank totally and absolutely. The Palestinian Authority has control over the rest. Peace Now is afraid the West Bank Arabs will ask for citizenship. Let them. Is it really that hard to say NO? Even after this plan they will still be living in areas that have not been annexed, ruled by their own government.
22. What two state solution? The Arabs don't want it.
Kubrikon ,   NY, USA   (02.24.12)
Who is really delusional here?
23. LEFTIST EMOTIONALISM
Dan ,   Florida   (02.24.12)
What we have to look at is what will the future look like if the leftist vision is adopted? Fortunately we have a demonstrated example. Gaza fulfilled the leftist vision and we have been repaid with more terrorism and a rabidly virulent Jew hating Government ruled from Iran dedicated to destroying Israel. Why do we listen to the leftist Peace Now at all? They are emotional fools.
24. Israel intends to annex the entire West Bank
Richard Wicks ,   Sunnyvale US   (02.24.12)
Just nobody will say it. This has been the plan since 1949.
25. "Peace now"...
Jules   (02.24.12)
... are hostile foreign agents.
26. Arabs want NO Israel, they claim ALL Israel is theirs
PETER SM ,   AUSTRALIA   (02.24.12)
27. barak and peres
mohson   (02.24.12)
Barak has to be supported here 100% for criticizing peres for telling obama that israel will not attack iran. First,Peres holds a ceremonial position and he should shut up about government policy. its bad enough that he foisted oslo with its delusions onto israel that killed 2000 israelis since 94. Second he opposed the 81 attack on osiraq as barak pointed out. and with respect to ashkenzi, baidetz and now dagan, they were wrong about syria and saudi peace plans which are worthless and should not limit israeli responses. I am not normally a fan of barak but on this issue he is totally correct. He is preparing israel if it decides on action and peres should shut up about government policy. He is a ceremonial president. He was a lousy foreign minister, a lousy PM who ran at the first sign of media trouble in shelling of lebanon and has been wrong on most critical issues confronting israel. Shut up already. As for dagan, talk in normal channels but shut up with your saudi peace plan and concessions to rotten fatah and abbas.
28. Truth and honesty
michaelpielet ,   israel   (02.24.12)
The left wants a binational state. All arabs will remain Jordanian citizens.
29. To 17, Brian Cohen
Luiz F Haddad ,   Niteroi, Brazil   (02.24.12)
Dear Brian Cohen. Me and others, true Christians from many countries of the world, who love Israel and the Jewish people, will ever stay at your side. But, exactly because of our friendship, we think there is no other solution than "two States" into Old British Palestinian Mandate. It may look like difficult, but "one State" is impossible. Israel can not lose her identity, nor sending Arab population to Jordan. Of course, new secure frontiers are necessary, and Arab Palestine must be demilitarized, having only police forces. And for such a honoured peace, right, center and left have to be united. Be strong, but be, also, patient. God bless you.
30. annexation plan
Franklin Paredes ,   Quito Ecuador   (02.24.12)
