Azeris and Armenians are in a unresolved military conflict over Nagorno Karabagh. With what conscious you sell weapons to corrupt to the bone dictatorship? This is ugly. Pity that money always wins over principles, especially when it comes to weapons sales. Dont be surprised then when Armenians see you as hostile power, while we could be and should be friends.

To my brother from Yerevan....don't be surprised by this immoral move from the Israeli government (not necessarily people). These are the same people who don't recognize the Armenian Genocide because they are afraid of offending the Turks. These are the same people who were talkin about arming the PKK to fight against their military allie Turkey. As despicable a this sale is, it doesn't seem all too uncharacteristic given their pattern of behavior.

Why does the US sell so much arms to Israel's enemies? To Saudi Arabia. Egypt. The UAE. And to Turkey which is not the friend it used to be. How much better the Middle East and the world would be if everyone in the region recognized each other's right to exist in peace, in recognized and secure borders. Israel had no choice but to build a large arms industry, for its own defense, but it is unsustainable without exports. The same as with every arms-building nation. Every arms sales threatens somebody. IF true peace between Jews, Muslims, Sunnis, Shia Azeris, Armenians would actually break out, Israel would turn to better things. But as long as Israel is not fully accepted, it has no choice but to build arms, and to sell them to those who are willing to "play ball" with it. It's an unjust world.
