No I haven't visited Auschwitz but I have been to the Holocaust Museum and it is part of the reason I support the Jewish people and the state of Israel. Now, some people use their beliefs to try to create another situation just as it was before Auschwitz where Christians vilified Jews and turned their backs them.
33. #14 Ah, good old Replacement Theology anti-Semitism.

Just when you think it's mostly gone, prime examples arise to give us a live history lesson. We remember quite well the days when Christians used to go around telling us that we deserved to suffer by their hand, Graczek, and it's always good to be reminded that once upon a time, people like you led whole branches of the Christian faiths, ruled nations, and commanded armies. Well, we don't live in our little Ghettos anymore, we don't cower in the Jewish quarter, trying to get by even as you accused us for all your ills and faults. We don't play by your rules anymore. Because you're not fair and just by definition, and nor are the voice of the Almighty bringing the message of divine decree and retribution - you are merely another who has drunk from the poisoned fount of replacement theology and Jewish eternal damnation, a belief that has only bred more pain and more suffering for all involved.

I understand how going to the Holocaust Museum would make you support the Jewish people. But how would it prove God's grace towards the Jews? If anything, God's attitude as manifested in the Holocaust, can be described as anything but "Grace".

If you check my talkback, you will see that nowhere do I advocate belief or disbelief in the Bible. I was ponting out to graczek that his theology is inconsistent with the book that is the basis for his belief. The sections I quoted do show God's grace just as other sections show God's judgement. if you don't like that, take it up with God, not with me. I didn't write it!

David Loyd-George was England's Prime Minister at the time of Lord Balfour's Declaration of British Policy. Lloyd-George was of the view that the Arabs turned Palestine from a land of milk and honey into a malarial wasteland and only a Jewish State could bring it back. See: The Jews and Palestine, an article by him in 1923. The Jews did, earlier than he though. Gilder, "The Economics of Settlement" quoting from Lowdermilk, Deputy Chief of Research in the US Soil and Conservation Service. Find it on the Internet.
