1. Israel is weak period and end of story.
Sheik rattle & roll ,   USA   (03.03.12)
When your neighbors house is on fire you don't lend him a garden hose, however it is trying to egg the US on in regards to Iran when it won't even help overthrow Syria where actual war crimes are being committed. If Israel had balls it would impose a NO-FLY zone over Syria and start air dropping supplies, but it won't hesitate to ask others to take care of issues near it's own borders.
2. To no.1
Mick ,   victoria Australia   (03.03.12)
Did Syria offer to help Israel when there were bush fires in the Carmel? If they could have, Syria would have thrown on some extra kerosine. Israel has absolutely no obligation to help any Arab country until such time that country moves into the modern and fully pledges peace and tranquility.
3. israel is weak period and end of story,
DANNY TAWIL ,   ENGLAND   (03.03.12)
SHEIK RATTLE AND ROLL, TALK ABOUT YOUR OWN F.......COUNTRY. WE THAT IS ISRAEL WILL GO IT ALONE BECAUSE OBAMA HASENT GOT THE BALLS TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IRAN. END OF STORY YOUR A WEAKLING.

Saudi Arabia sits on trillions of dollars. What are they doing for their Arab brothers?
6. wise call from israeli side
ygalg ,   israel   (03.03.12)
delivering humanitarian aid is reasonable. other than that, is not advantageous to israel. israel aided afghans and it rewarded with fire. israel should learn from its past events.
7. To No.1 - Real Politics
Avigdor ,   Colorado Springs, US   (03.03.12)
Unfortunately, any aid, in whatever form, will be portrayed as an intervention. This is the reason all other countries have limited their aid to mere words of outrage. Israel, however, has always striven to see beyond the political when it comes to humanitarian aid when those in need were willing to set their political differences aside and accept their help. It's tough for Israel--damned if you do, damned if you don't. Still, to do nothing is not an act of neutrality and words alone have no effect on a regime that slaughters its own people with impunity.
8. #3: Oh? And what is the UK doing?
Cynthia ,   Canada   (03.03.12)
Why don't YOU talk about your own country? Seems the UK is happy to see Iran get nukes and yet you bitch about the Americans (who are doing more to stop Iran than any other nation on the planet.) Furthermore, almost every conflict in the Mid East can be traced back to arbitrary lines that the British drew in the sand as 'borders.' If there were any fairness in the world, there would be sanctions on the UK to pay for all the messes it left behind from its empire days. Yet here you are, bitching about the US not 'doing enough.' Typical British hypocrisy. When was it that the British developed such an Australian inferiority-complex?
9. TO NR. 6...

YOUR TALKBACK IS( LESS OR MORE) CORRECT. THAT IS A GOOD IDEA OF MISTER A. LIEBERMAN, AT MY OPINION.
10. Bad call.
manicdrummer ,   Galilee, Israel   (03.03.12)
What's happening in Syria and other places is all part of the prophecies foretold in Zechariah 12:3. Do not interfere with the Lord's work unless He specifically tells you to.
11. I am not interested in the least ...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.03.12)
... in providing humanitarian aid to Syria. For one thing, there are no effective conduits to ensure that the aid would reach its intended recipients. Syria has shut down international aid organizations. Why would Israel be in the least bit interested in providing humanitarian aid that will be immediately siphoned off by Assad and his evil henchmen? More power to those Syrians that can leave Syria. As long as they head into Lebanon and Turkey, that is. I am not in the least bit interested in accepting them into Israel -- let them go to their Moslem and Arab brethren.
12. Israel is weak period and end of story.
Daniel C. ,   Providence, RI (USA)   (03.03.12)
To #1 Sheik rattle & roll. Where are all your arab neighbors? Why don't they impose a No-Fly Zone and drop supplies? I guess they must not care much for all the killing of innocents. You cannot wait for the United States or Israel to save your Arab brothers. The Arabs have to do it themselves. When there is a problem in the Arab world, the arabs all look to the Americans or other countries to solve their problems (ie: invasion of Kuwait). What do we get in return, ingratitude and blaming the Americans, in principal, for all the problems in the Arab world. It is time for the Arabs to wake up and smell the coffee. No man is an island, we all need each other. If the Arabs and the Iranians do not want to be part of peace, comprehension, tolerance and collaboration with the rest of humaninty, they can always live in their own world, maybe years from now they will realize that they are self-distructing.

No compassion Sarah once again Maybe you become an advisor tp the government of Israel as you seem to know everything about everything You sad excuse for a woman

17. Even as an empty gesture: very wrong message to the Arabs!
tom ,   tel aviv   (03.03.12)
18. to Sarah B you have a point
ygalg ,   israel   (03.03.12)
its possible it won't reach to intended recipients. but the fact israel have not refused to provide aid at the humanitarian level it will prove to the Syrian people that israel does care. the theory that circulated on web that israel sides with Assad, needs to be refuted. its a lie israel should not allow to pass. Assad's regime sides with Iran, Hezbollah, previously with Hamas and other fractions who seek constantly the destruction of israel. illogical assumption. Ehud Olmert tried to get closer to Assad at the summit which Assad successfully evaded the contact. israel deduced Assad regime is fascistic nazi wannabe. hope this message will be reached.
19. to 16 how about you, do you care?

20. FM: Israel willing to help Syrian refugees,...
split ,   US   (03.03.12)
First, they didn't ask you ,... Second, even if they did they should count their fingers before shaking hands with Lieberman ,...
21. #16 You have the right to remain silent
Cynthia ,   USA   (03.03.12)
Particularly in light of the fact your Hamas brothers travel like honey bees to beg for money from Iran. They do this while knowing full well Iran is funding and providing military support for the massacre in Syria.
22. Lieberman's offer is good enough, really.
Harry Wright ,   UK   (03.03.12)
Israel does not have to prove ANYTHING to the Syrians who will hate Israel, humanitarian aid offer or not. The anti-Assad folks do not want humanitarian aid from Israel because there are other organizations that will deal adequately with their needs. What they want is military and technological aid. That is the reason for all the recent desperate chatter about wanting peace with Israel and not wanting the Golan heights and so forth. Lieberman did well by offering humanitarian aid - not exactly what they wanted - and of course, they are free to say, "Thanks, but no thanks." It can even open the way to a mutually beneficial arrangement, who knows.
23. not a day to soon!!!
Houssem - Eddine ,   M. Bourguiba,Tunisia   (03.03.12)
You who claim to have lost so many innocent lives perpertrated by the darkest forces ever setting foot on our planet, how can you let your savage neighbour kill so many children and still find sleep at night? The world wiil be eternally thankfull to you and we Arabs will forever accept and live peacefully with you on the condition that you help us get rid of ASSAD and his evil gang.Thats a promise I am willing to put in writing and find a million co-signatures initiated from a liberated Tunisia from tyrany! Only you can help us to stop this daily bloodshed! JUST DO IT!
24. To: No. 13
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.04.12)
If the Red Cross or Red Crescent or Magen David Adom were to handle distribution of humanitarian aid, I'd be all for it. But they aren't, are they? You are welcome to send all the humanitarian aid you wish. All of it will end up benefiting Assad and his cronies. Is that your idea of compassion? You are one sad excuse for a human being. Do you work for a Swiss bank? You know, one of the dozens of Swiss banks that stole Jewish-owned bank accounts? Or do you work for one of those big Swiss insurers that have consistently refused to pay proceeds on life insurance policies owned by Jews that perished in the Holocaust? What was that you were saying about compassion? Or would you prefer to talk decency?
25. To: No. 23
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.04.12)
There are 23 Arab nations that can muster up a military action to save the Syrian people. Funny how you people hate Israel until you need or want Israel to do your dirty work for you. We aren't going to be your pawns. If you are really serious, do it your damned selves. Signatures on a petition is absurd, and laughable. Put your efforts into concrete action. Why should a single Israeli soldier die to save a single Syrian? They're your brethren and your co-religionists; not ours. Live peacefully with us in return for sacrificing Jewish men and women to do your work? I don't think so. I'm not sure Israel wants to be friends with all of you, and I'm pretty certain that no one appointed you to speak for the entire Arab world. Twenty-three Arab states should probably be able to muster something. JUST DO IT! Leave us out of your sick problems.
26. #23 Here is a better suggestion.
Harry Wright ,   UK   (03.04.12)
Make copies of a letter asking for assistance in the removal of Assad and copies of the million signatures. Send them off to the Arab leaders of the region. Muslims are duty-bound to assist another muslim who asks for help. It is in the koran. If a million muslims ask the same thing, the help will be quicker in coming. I guarantee you that you will get results in the blink of an eye. And if that fails, there is another option. You can gather the million and lead a charge on Assad. He won't dare fire on Tunisians, trust me. By the way, are you related to Rashid? You sound like him.
27. To: Ygalg at No. 18
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.04.12)
I am pleased that Israel made the offer. Israeli humanitarian gestures are genuine -- one need look no further to Israel's quick responses to earthquakes in Turkey and that devastating earthquake in Haiti. Also to the daily humanitarian crises that no one either knows about or talks about; the teams of Israeli surgeons that operate on hearts, eyes and faces throughout the Third World. But I have very serious doubts that any Israeli humanitarian aid will reach its intended recipients. I have no desire to render aid and assistance to Assad's evil regime. Nor should Israel accept any refugees. The United Nations has a well-funded and highly organized agency to do precisely that. It's time they actually earned their keep. Israel never receives its richly-deserved acknowledgment of humanitarian endeavors. Syria is a can of worms. I'd rather stay pretty well clear of that. In one or another way, if there is Israeli involvement, it will be turned into widespread excoriation. Syria is the world's problem; it is not specifically Israel's problem, despite a shared border. Unless and until humanitarian aid pathways are clear and it becomes evident that Israeli humanitarian aid reaches its intended recipients, best steer clear of this one. There are twenty-two Arab states -- some far wealthier than Israel -- that can cough up assistance for their fellow Arabs. Where are they?

29. to 23 dear Mr.Houssem - Eddine
ygalg ,   israel   (03.04.12)
your enemy is not tyrants. they're just but a tool. your enemy lives among you within you. you praise this enemy, you blindly follow this enemy. the sooner you realize that, the better.
30. dear Sarah B I have no disagreement with you on the issue
ygalg ,   israel   (03.04.12)
certainly we can't accept refugees, israel reached its quota of refugees to the highest peak. economically we are not able to sustain another wave of refugees. another problem the syrian palestinian refugees. so its a NO. but at least even so it won't reach its destination, giving a moral support is right thing to do. as we did for Iranian people where Obama failed to do so. it was a missed opportunity which would have served us all. iran is the place where the people experience both islamic theocracy and tyranny. there would have happen a real upheaval. there we should have provided more than moral support. people who say we respect islam don't respect humanity. islam does not respects humanity.
