It is easy for people there to take out their frustruations on Israelis rather than Syrians, who are even today killing fellow Muslims. Many Jordanian academics would like to maintain ties with Israelis but they are prevented from doing so or even speaking about it because they fear the Palestinian mobs and the Salafis. There are many good people in Jordan and they deserve the benefit of the doubt.
