4. Hmmm. Gaza "charm" offensive?
Gideon Reader   (03.09.12)
Well Bunky, that Mashaal/Abu BooBoo thingy is certainly working it's diplomatic magic, is it not? According to the delusional dipsticks over at Shalom Ach-choo, this is the work of the dreaded "settlers". Now if they could only consolidate and wear Shtrimels the loser leftoids would have a very personal accident of the climatic sort.
5. All I can say is: Level Gaza flat. NOW!
Israeli 2   (03.09.12)
6. And, the IAF is nowhere to be found
Ron ,   OC, US   (03.09.12)
Time to get the expensive planes off the ground and let the IAF hit meaningful targets-maybe for a whole day.
7. "the response will be the same scope as the crime"
William ,   Israel   (03.09.12)
So that means that PRC is planning to go after a commander in the military, right? No. They've avoided the entire IDF and instead shot targets at only civilians.
8. Natanyaho object towards Obama .. Gazans blood
Salam Salah ,   Gaza   (03.09.12)
9. Israel is responsible for the attack .. Gaza isn't
shadi - Gaza ,   Gaza   (03.09.12)
life was normal in Gaza ..... your IDF planes marred it this afternoon by killing 2 people and later 2 another ... all Gaza millitants groups still stuck to the cease-fire untill strike took place.. claiming that palestinians fired mortars this morning wasn't credible ... we (( Gaza people )) know that those who fired rockets this morning are collaborators with Israel took orders from the IDF to do so just to give it a pretext to kill the PRC chief .
10. everybody loses in the war?
cristian ,   argentina   (03.09.12)
according to an old and wise idea in a war everyone loses but if we are a little suspicious and analyze such perception one can find somewhat different results,if balance of human life is in a classical war as that act desperate and last resort of a nation to mantain its integrity always be lost human lives, from this point of view a war always will be a defeat for the contenders because no matter how many are the fallen, will be enough one to loathe the war,it may even appeal to the advantage which means the sacrifice of a minority for the benefit of the majority particularly in circumstances in which the lives of millions may depend on a handful of men, anyway the loss of human life is serious no matter if it is nothing more than a because behind that unknown man falling in the line of battle surely there will be a father,a mother, brothers, and perhaps children who cry for the beloved being that never again will return but beyond the moral considerations the fact that war occur due to specific and sometimes clearly identifiable reasons, wars are almost always an origin economic rather than political or religious, are basic objective to increase or at least protect the resources that the nation can develop normally as their culture, since time immemorial the principles which have given rise to the most major contests have sitting in the conquest or defense of resources but what exactly we mean by resources has changed over time, once they may have been slaves, crop fields, animals, forests, minerals, waters etc, large conflicts caused by nations in order to increase its resources usually emerged prosperous and politically strong, although slavery like cultures once they reached their purposes through a military triumph, while many of these cultures that were once great nations warlike, expansionist, already almost have become extinct or have done so in full if we look at the international scene we will notice that the big winners of the last great wars are usually somewhat prosperous nations

Well, okay. Make that terrorist scum eat their words, and then get to learn all about hell on a first-person basis.
12. Israel Needs Another Begin
Noah Lev ,   LosAngelesUSA   (03.09.12)
Thanks Hillary and Obama for putting pressure on Israel to stop retaliating for thousands of similar incidents, after the 22 settlements were dismantled and the brigrade left. Now, in Lebanon//strip, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, PFLP, Hez have grown significantly...not paying any attention to the cease fire regs. Iran condemns Israel for threats at the UN, while boasting 9 minutes to destory the state. The Arab are pin pricking Israel to death. One Muslim journalist (US TV) says Israel cannot but pin prick Iran ("punch into the nose"), Hmmmm. What about Isrel firing 25 15ton nukes into the Strip and there 1megaon nukes into Iran? Is that a pin prick To Israel; wake up, you are at war, and you are losing.
13. To: No. 9
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.09.12)
How unfortunate that you consider plotting massive terrorist attacks against Israeli interests constitutes "normal" life. Israel killed the terrorists responsible for that plot. And since hardly a day passes without some terrorist element in Gaza firing missiles into Israel and firing mortars into Israel, the report of mortars being fired this morning is quite credible. But -- like all ersatz "Palestinians" -- it's never your fault; never your responsibility. Someone else is ALWAYS to blame, even your ludicrous suggestion that (imaginary) collaborators were responsible for the mortar fire. Your line of reasoning embodies the quintessential reason why the ersatz "Palestinians" will never have a state.

7th paragraph: The Air Force targeted several rocket cells in Gaza during the evening, killing at least three Islamic Jihad terrorists.
20. #9 shadi
solomon ,   bklyn   (03.09.12)
1. Life was normal in gaza; terrorists traveling to and fro while arranging a major attack, one of them having been released from an Israeli jail. BTW; none of the gaza millitant groups stuck to the cease-fire; it had been broken by them well before the strike took place. 2. "Those who fired rockets this morning are collaborators with Israel [who] took orders from the IDF to do so just to give it a pretext to kill the PRC chief " LOL ! You may even be serious, spouting such ridiculous nonsense. You go to great lengths not to blame yourselves, and that is part of the crux of the situation. You are never at fault. Dream on...
21. How can Jews make Aliyah with thus BS
USA   (03.10.12)
Stop playing games and end terror.
22. bibi and barak act like dumbbells
marcel   (03.09.12)
i told them to order rafael to triple shift production to get an addional 78 iron dome batteries and to bypass US funding. What do they do-nothing so rocket barrages get some past the one iron dome battery in the area. israel is not ready to strike iran until they have 10 iron dome batteries around the country as hezbollah will launch 1000 missiles per day. Israel needs someone like marwan assad who would fire missiles and tank shells into gaza crowds which would shut them down.
23. anti-rocket defense system shot down at least two Grad ,...
split ,   US   (03.10.12)
That makes over 1.5 billion per one Grad rocket considering a cost to develop this lemon ,... Now !!! Two out of how many, a few dozens $15 a piece of flying gutters? How many attempts? x $65 000.00per an attempt ,... So much for Israeli know how ;) ,...
24. #9 - yes, life of creating terrorism is normal in gaza
William ,   Israel   (03.10.12)
This was a guy who was involved in terror attacks on Israeli civilians, in the past and in the near future. This is actually what normal life is in Gaza and it's unacceptable. The PRC chief was a marked target since he committed terror attacks on Israel back in 2006, 2008, and recently on the Egyptian border with Israel. Infact, it doesn't really matter if Gazans fired rockets or not. In rules of war, Israel can hit this terrorist ANYTIME. You terrorists have been firing rockets all damn week at Israeli civilians - a war crime. Does that sound like they stuck to a cease-fire? Of course not. On the face, they claim to adhere to a cease-fire, then they go pay some other group to launch attacks in their stead. Arafat admitted to this tactic. So did Zahar who insist the whole of Gaza supports them in all ways to attack Israel. Now you have your answer. And no one cries for you - not even the UN.
25. #23 - got your MBA online, did you?
William ,   Israel   (03.10.12)
I can see from your clever accounting that you received your MBA from the School of Enron. Well, far be it from me to question such stellar logic and arithmetic on your part, but calling this defense system a lemon while knowing it targets ONLY those rockets with a trajectory towards civilian centers is a bit mis-guiding. So is tying the entire cost of the system ($1.5B - not sure where you ended up with this number) to 1 Grad (even though since inception many Grads were shot down - causing obvious concern in Gaza, Lebanon, and Tehran).
26. Level the place
Joe ,   Florida,USA   (03.10.12)
Please bomb them back to the Stone Age. Take Gaza back FOREVER.
27. You can't be serious!
To #9 ,   Los Angeles, USA   (03.10.12)
The "IDF paid collaborators to fire on Israel" . Where do you get that stuff from? Tells Hamas and other groups to come out of their rat's holes and fight like men instead of hiding behind women and firing at schools and houses. Let's see how they do mano a mano against the IDF. Winner takes all, agreed?
28. #9 Shadi...Israel unlike your lot do its best
arlene   (03.10.12)
to protect its civilian population from terrorist attacks, and so FYI your crap there were planning strikes and I for one hope Israel bombs the shit out of you and ever since that "dead" body got off the stretcher and ran when the IDF were overhead, your propaganda doesnt have the same affect. Folks eyes on Syria and Iran, so sorry you have to take a back seat.
29. #2 maybe a mid east Disneyland!!!!
peggy   (03.10.12)
30. Split (USA)
Ehud   (03.10.12)
It tracks the missile path and attempts to intercept only if the calculated trajectory predicts a hit of an inhabited area. That saves both money by shooting when the missile would anyhow fall in open area, and also by spending the 65,000$ where the damage inflicted by the missile would cost more. By the way, you pay half of every missile. I do believe this is quite ingenious!
