1. THANK YOU HAMAS
Meir Elazar   (03.10.12)
Now that Iron Dome Intercept 25 out of 27 Rockets and the other 2 fell in open areas this is a 100% SUCCESS RATE. This should help our sales dramatically of battle proven military hardware. And the frosting on the cake is 14 terrorist dead. It doesn't get much better than this., Thank you Hamas.

cairo, when hamas stops firing rockets into israel, then we'll consider our steps. however, this is none of your business. Keep your nose out of it as you have violated the peace agreement allowing terror to fill up the sinai and to attack israel along your border. israel will be peaceful if hamas and y ou are peaceful. and obama replaced mubarak, a saint compared to the conspiratorial gang that now rules. and for cairo, israel will defend itself against anyone and everyone so threats will be of no use.
10. Please may I say to Iron Dome team..Kol Hakavod!

They are marvellous.Nothing but marvellous.
11. Shalom is not quite Achshav today.
Gideon Reader   (03.10.12)
...and they are quite sad. How outrageous of the acursed PEACE destroying "settlers" to have found this joyful time of Purim to fire missiles and rockets into Israel. Wait! It was NOT the "settlers"? well then,...it must have been the Heredim. Or anyone except the persons who are actually preventing peace and a rational civilized settlement of the issue. How can that be? After all,...OSLO! Oslo solved and the problems. And "disengagement". That solved all of the problems as well. What? It did not? Well possibly the fault of the neverending war may actually NOT be Israel's fault. (GASP) What if...?
12. the business of weapons
cristian ,   argentina   (03.10.12)
kill is becoming easier can be at greater distance with less effort and greater indifference, the supply of arms to countries in conflict or where human rights are violated is constant and has no control, banks and states become rich with the business of war,the situation is at a very critical point there are millions of arms in circualtion and they can be found virtually anywhere in the world, they are oftem used to commit gross violations of human rights and millions of people are suffering the consequences, governments have the duty to protect its citizens within its borders but also do the utmost to prevent violations of human rights and crimes of war in other countries

15. What would it take?!
Jake Stone ,   USA   (03.10.12)
"Minister of Home Front Defense Matan Vilnai stressed on Saturday that "the IDF is not planning on launching another military campaign in Gaza." Please...tell us what would it take for the IDF to finally decide when its appropriate to attack? You'd think after 100+ rockets, they'd want to stop the BS...at least make an effort! It's a shame the population has to live in bomb shelters because the military doesn't want to fully commit itself to protect its people. God bless, Israel!
16. #13 - Iron Dome not effective against RPGs, Qassams
William ,   Israel   (03.10.12)
which are short-range rockets with shrapnel. Iron Dome knocks out the larger, more powerful rockets like Grads which cause real damage, and has done so very effectively - you have to admit.
17. Israel IS AT WAR with Iran
Lemmings Hotline ,   sd usa   (03.10.12)
They're just hiding behind their little pawns so that Israel doesnt retaliate.
18. Israel needs a war
Leon ,   Algonquin Land   (03.10.12)
It has been a few years since Israel bombed another people. The US forbid them to bomb Iran so they are picking on Gaza. The IDF must be proud to attack an enemy that they know cannot defend itself.
19. How many Israelis died from the Rocket fire?
Rich ,   Toronto, Canada   (03.10.12)
Half of the population in the Gaza are children. How much courage does it take for the IAF to bomb unarmed children? It's sick!
20. 19 Rich
ray stuart ,   Zurich   (03.10.12)
Hamas and other terrorist groups fire rockets from Gaza from school playgrounds . Hospital grounds and built up areas.. Israel put their citizens in shelters when there is a warning from rocket attacks..What am I saying Rich is that Israel cares about everyone of its citizens.Hamas would rather sacrifice women and children so they can blame Israel. You are the sick one... Have you the same comments on Syria who are killing their own citizens woman and children on a daily basis or is it only when it is Israel who defends its self that you make your stupid comments???????????? You are the SICK one!!!!
21. #19
Bill ,   Eshkolot, Israel   (03.10.12)
And how much courage does it take for the folks launching rockets at Israel to hide behind those children? That's what's sick, and that's what allows paraphrasing Golda Meir's statement to the effect that the violence stops when Arab parents care more about the wellbeing of their own children than they care about trying to kill Jewish children.
22. 19# your a moron.They shoot the
Dyslexic.... ,   Israel...   (03.10.12)
rockets we shoot them down Jewish ingenuity,Jewish brains, which you do not have. You forgot one thing you moron we in Israel have children as well.
23. @16
sipahi ,   Istanbul   (03.10.12)
You could be right. Thanks for the information.
24. RICH IN TORONTO, #19
Brannt ,   Hilton Head SC   (03.10.12)
The IAF isn't bombing children, but the endless rockets from Gaza are aimed at anything, including children. You ought to prefer the precision of the Israelis being able to take out a couple of your "resistance" heroes on a motorcyle. Half of the population in southern Israel which is not now and never was so called "occuipied" or "stolen" land, are also children and shame on you for your absence of sympathy for them.
25. Covering the costs of operating Iron Dome
spondres ,   France   (03.10.12)
Iron Dome is quite expensive, I understand, so I trust that the Israeli government will routinely deduct the operating costs from the tax revenue transfers which they make to the PA.
26. #19
spondres ,   France   (03.10.12)
Obviously it's not unarmed children who are firing rockets from Gaza at Israeli civilian targets; nor are unarmed children being targeted and killed in the IDF's retaliatory defensive operations. So what are you crapping on about?
27. Iron Dome is not a solution
Syd Chaden ,   Palermo Calif USA   (03.10.12)
The interception of 27 of 29 missiles by Iron Dome is indeed very impressive. However, if one of the two missiles that were not intercepted carried toxic chemicals or gas, or a nuclear warhead, there would be no cause for celebration. The Iranian nuclear capability, or the Syrian poison gas capabilty, are not subject to passive or reactive defense. There is debate over "when" the threat to Israel will become critical. The answer, of course, is that the threat will become critical when a cloud of poison gas, or a mushroom cloud, rises over Haifa or Tel Aviv. The US, the Europeans, and most certainly, the UN, would prefer to wait for that positive evidence. But, can Israel afford to wait? It is a much simpler matter to anguish over a Holocaust that has already occurred, than it is to face up to one that is in the offing, but has not yet happened.
28. 19 Cry for your brothers in Syrians
(03.10.12)
29. #19 If Palestinians care about their children
Cynthia ,   USA   (03.10.12)
They wouldn't fire 100 rockets at Israel, then hide behind their women and childen. Israel has more than enough experience with thousands of rockets and bombs that have murdered, maimed, disabled and traumatized for life men, women and children. But you already know that.
30. To No. 19, the sick one from Toronto
New Yorker ,   U.S.A.   (03.10.12)
If the "children" in Gaza continue uninterrupted to believe in death for the Jews and keep firing their not so toy rockets in the direction of where Jewish people reside, then they will be bombed, perhaps with increased intensity. As for those sick in Toronto, they should stay in bed and focus on their getting better as opposed to making sick comments on the subject they have little knowledge of.
