israel didn't cut off fuel supplies to gaza - hamas did. hamas isn't buying any fuel from israel, at israeli market prices, because the price in egypt, smuggled through the tunnels, is cheaper. and they haven't, for quite a while now. it is hamas who cut off the fuel supply, and sought to make as much propaganda mileage out of it as possible. but in any event, that power plant, even when operating, only produces 1/3 of the electricity used in gaza anyway, with the other 2/3 coming directly from the israeli grid. so please try to keep your facts straight.

It was all over the news & you should know about this.They decided to take the fuel from Egypt. Tell me when was there a time when Israel bombed Gaza without being provoked by the pallies? Israel didnt cut any supplies to Gaza, though hamas did recently accuse Egypt of reducing gas supplies. Don't know if it's true or not. Hamas says a lot of things. More importantly, during this "lull" Gaza has puonded Israel with an average of 50 rockets per month. So if that's what you mean by "maintaining a lull"...
