i watched mr dagan on 60 min. and i can not understand how a great man, a heroic warrior of israel, one of the most effective leader of mossad, be so completely and totally WRONG. G_d bless him.

what information do you personally have to support your comment that Dagan is wrong? He seem to be a calculating man..I can't imagine he's allow his life or others to be at risk since he himself lives in Tel Aviv. its incredible how arrogant most of you people are...you criticize an informative and intelligent man. he knows more than all of you combined so why do you thirst for a war? we've seen this story before and we dont like it...creating a war based on your delusional and made up lies...Iran (whom I dislike but wont become paranoid about) knows the west would annihilate Iran in a day if they were to even attempt the destruction of Israel...and stop feeding yourselves with the ignorant information that Iran wants to eliminate you...its not congruent...they have the largest Jewish population in the Middle East outside of Israel...if they wanted to they would start there!

He has the experience, he knows what he is talking about, he was talking straight and was believable. Maybe he was doing it to fool Iranians in the service of Netanyahu? But this is not how he came through on the program. If anything, I would think Netanyahu is the one doing the fooling of Dagan. There is no doubt about it in my mind: Meir Dagan is an accomplished Israeli patriot with a very impressive background, worth listening to for his thoughts.

It would be no surprise to me if he is hooked at the hip with Obama - his comments are just a bit "too" coincidental. I, though no professional, wouldn't trust Iran's leaders as far as I could throw the entire country. Ahmadinejad and the Ayatollah exude an air of {"deviousness" between them. Their eschatology is what drives them, as you know. That and their hatred of Israel and all Jewish people. Though not an Israeli - I would put my trust in Netanyahu--AS he puts his trust in Yahweh.
