Not often I say Obama can be trusted but in this case I think its safe to say that once he has the election out the way in November he will attack Iran. After November he doesn't have to worry about the consequences because if he wins the election he won't be running in 2016 and if he loses he leave the mess for the next president to clean up so either way his political career is secure. If Israel attacked Iran its unlikely it would be able to do much more than delay things a couple of years but if the US did it then they could destroy the entire nuclear program and destroy some of their missile facilities limiting the retaliation. As the US will probably get dragged into it anyway if Israel attacks better the US starts and finishes it and Obama knows that. The arabs are pushing him to attack Iran.
