"Israel will continue to strike whoever plans attacks on Israeli citizens." By the same logic of having plans for Gaza leaders and Gaza civilians, Gaza can't but having plans for Israel leaders and Israel civilians. Eye For Eye.
2. Not a peep of condemnation from the world.
Devorah   (03.15.12)
Danny Danon was so right when he said the U.S. should be ashamed for issuing an official statement calling for calm on both sides.
3. Gaza
Daniel ,   Warsaw,Poland   (03.15.12)
The only solution is to let the European and American troops take full control of the Gaza Strip.
4. The moment Shalit was exchanged for 1013 crininals
leo ,   usa   (03.15.12)
the price of "proportional response" was set. . One Quassam from Arabs warrants exactly 1013 of identical rockets in response. And they must be targeted just as indiscriminately.
5. Freedom
Joske ,   Sweden   (03.15.12)
It is not only RIGHT to attack the terrorists in Gaza it is a DUTY. This is how Israel is gaining Freedom.
6. If the I.D.F. knows where 50 or a 100

terrorist warehouses, factories, stockpiles or headquarters are, then why not take them out at once. Why the 1, 2 or 5 targets? Hit all that you know about and look for more. Make sure the gazans live in fear of their lives by targeting the civilians. There is nothing wrong with that.
7. Well Nasrallah, you hiding coward, is Israel just testing
PETER SM ,   AUSTRALIA   (03.15.12)
Iron dome? It can never be your fault can it?
8. Some ceasefire... We cease, they fire
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (03.15.12)
They (in Gaza) haven't offered us quiet, so why are we giving them quiet. IDF responses since the informal ceasefire have been rather restrained - a tunnel here, a missile site (after the missile's been fired) - and no Palestinian casualties reported. Is this Barak holding back (as he did during Cast Lead), or did Bibi get a phone call from Obama?

It does matter that the “Palestinians” began all this. Israel withdrew from gaza, remember? But we don’t expect anyone as blind as you to see logic, let alone, facts.

Beary White ,   Norway   (03.15.12)
For every rocket fired at Israel, the IDF should pound 1 rocket at the apartment of a hamasss member. Start today, with 6 ea's !!

Syd Chaden ,   Palermo Calif USA   (03.15.12)
Iron Dome is undoubtedly a superb technological achievement. It is, however, totally defensive. It addresses only a missile that has been fired toward Israel, does nothing to prevent another missile from being fired. The cost of Iron Dome greatly exceeds the cost of the attacking missiles. The US, the UN, the world, does not seem to care at all about the missiles being fired at Israel. It only seems to care about how and when Israel defends itself against the missiles. Everyone knows what it would take to eliminate the capability to fire missiles into Israel. The world would not like it, if Israel took the necessary steps to do that. Eventually, Israel will have to decide if it is more concerned with the world liking it, which will never happen, or with protecting its people from incoming missiles. Iron Dome doesn't solve that problem.

Whatever intelligence Israel has of gaza - tunnels, depots etc, should be taken out after the first rocket is fired at her. By the second rocket, Israel should have nothing more to shoot at. By the second try, the palis will not even consider shooting anything at Israel. They will have learned the hard way, that it is just too expensive.

European and American troops would prove ineffective. They would not want to risk their lives for something in which they are not directly involved. The UN in Lebanon, and the UN force in the Sinai (which is now surrounded by Bedouin and include American soldiers, among others) are good examples. I am not faulting the troops. I am speaking of the orders they receive from their governments.

Good point. However, it could be that the IDF prefers to keep letting the terrorists stockpile the locations the IDF knows about, but the “Pals” don’t know they know about. The IDF is saving them as targets when war resumes (G-d forbid). If the IDF would take out the stockpiles now, it would have to find out where the new stockpiles are going to be. This takes time.
