32. Huh?
Kaleb ,   NYC   (03.15.12)
Is your point that two wrongs make a right? How does one bad thing excuse another.
33. To: No. 28
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.15.12)
Oh, shut up already. You've turned yourself into a joke on these boards. Are you so browbeaten that you don't recognize when you are humiliated -- or when everyone humiliates you? Why not just find yourself a nice skinhead website where people with the identical intellectual deficiency as you might appreciate the anti-Semitic drivel you spout?
34. To: No. 20
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.15.12)
Careful. Why should the sovereign State of Israel go to extraordinary measures to ensure the safety of Jews in the Jewish state? Wouldn't it make far more sense to simply neutralize those that mean us harm? That's pretty much how the rest of the world operates; what applies to them applies to us, as well. It is time to stop with the self-aggrandizement that we need to be better than everyone else, while Jews are maimed, injured and killed.
35. To: No. 28, redux
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.15.12)
So had she been carrying a weapon, she would have been fully justified in using it, correct? Of course, had she been carrying a weapon, the cowardly ersatz "Palestinian" terrorist would not have even approached her.
36. Capital punishment in Israel
sk ,   USA   (03.15.12)
May Capital punishment in Israel be passed. Adopt the Islamic method for Muslims —decapitation. For others, lethal injection is fine. Attempted premeditated murder conviction shall receive a mandatory life sentence without possibility of release,

There is no justification for pretending that certain areas are not too dangerous for us to provide service.
40. Where was her pistol
Davidoff ,   USA   (03.16.12)
It's time you teach the women soldiers to shoot their guns. One bullet to the terrorist's head and "Baruch Sheptaranu"

only takes one to create a poisonous atmosphere. Children out front throwing stones in front of snipers. Children their front line. Where are their heroic parents? Their PA /Hamas inciters to martyrdom? A soldier? Big deal she was in no position to defend herself under the circumstances Their guns are shouldered and not loaded,if they are carrying weapons at all. Maybe honor requires chidren to attack troops who are armed and ready
43. I agree 100%

46. The light rail train is a death trap!
David ,   Raleigh   (03.16.12)
It will be bombed sooner than later. Its harder to secure, which means its easier to kill people with. I hope Israel isnt just hoping this doesnt happen and is instead planning for and implementing measures to prevent attacks.

The Jerusalem Municipality portrays itself for illegal gradual ethnic cleansing of Palestinians out of Jerusalem, the demolition of Palestinian homes and destruction of property, and the sustained suppression of development in the Palestinian neighborhoods as a matter of policy. The international law does not allow Israel to bulldoze Palestinian homes to make space for the mayor’s project to build a garden, or anything else. On the route of the Adidas marathon were the willful destruction of the Moroccan Quarter in the old city of Jerusalem in 1967, and the desecration of the historic cemetery of Ma’man Allah in West Jerusalem, for the purposes of building a Museum of Tolerance.

Daniel ,   Tel Aviv   (03.16.12)
You misunderstand my point. All Israeli citizens be they Jew or Arab have a right to live in safety. Unfortunately the situation in Israel requires that we have very high levels of security and good intel. Sadly the light rail security appears to be less tight than required. This poor soldier was attacked. This should never be allowed to happen. I just also advocate that such an incident does not mean cutting off Israeli-Arab neighborhoods from public transport as had been advocated in a previous post.
53. #29 Split - Better Yet
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (03.16.12)
View the lovely Hamas KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION CEREMONY on You tube, it will show you how the five year old graduates of Hamas Kindergartent are all dressed up in their mock Jihadi uniforms, complete with mock bomb belts You've proved it once again, once an idiot always always a moron..It's in your lack of backbone to do anything yourself

BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (03.16.12)
The fact of the matter is that Arabs encouraged their people to leave, promising they would return to looted Jewish property: Arabs Urged to Flee from Palestine in 1948: Arab and Independent Sources Document That Arab Leaders Urged Palestinians to Leave "The fact that there are these refugees is the direct consequence of the act of the Arab states in opposing partition and the Jewish state. The Arab states agreed upon this policy unanimously and they must share in the solution of the problem." -- Emile Ghoury, secretary of the Palestinian Arab Higher Committee, in an interview with the Beirut Telegraph September 6, 1948. (same appeared in The London Telegraph, August 1948) "The most potent factor [in the flight of Palestinians] was the announcements made over the air by the Arab-Palestinian Higher Executive, urging all Haifa Arabs to quit... It was clearly intimated that Arabs who remained in Haifa and accepted Jewish protection would be regarded as renegades." -- London Economist October 2, 1948 "It must not be forgotten that the Arab Higher Committee encouraged the refugees' flight from their
