It seems that because Israel is so humane to spare the lives of Gaza citizens during attacks. The Gazan's are under the impression that Israel is weak. Threatening Israel with longer distance rockets to hit Tel Aviv, is like a mouse telling an elephant that it is going to fight it to death. Just consider Israel doing what these jihad guys did? Sending 250 rockets into their citizens. Gaza would have become a parking lot, with no survivors.

Islamic Jihad is a terrorist organization, and is univerally recognized as such. Israel is a sovereign state. Sovereign states enjoy certain rights and privileges that do not accrue to terrorist organizations. In the meantime -- a threat is a threat. Israel has a full right to defend itself against all terrorist endeavors. That would include the Islamic Jihad, whose goals are well known, and whose acts are well documented. Time to put down the terrorist rabid hyenas and jackals. The innocent civilians of Israel have suffered enough.

Best idea I've heard was on another thread--every time Gaza launches a missile at Israel, and we need to deploy Iron Dome and cancel school and work -- add up the cost of it all ($40,000 for each Iron Dome interceptor, thousands more for missed work, cancelled school) and DEDUCT IT FROM THE PA TAXES we collect. After all, they're a "unity government" now, so we'll collect restitution for their acts of terror---and we should close the crossings one day for every day of rocket launches, also.

Hasan the resistance sent over 1 million Israels running for cover in the south. The same could be said for Cast Lead, the recent operation was more targeted but many were still running for cover. So at some stage 1.6 million Gazans will be running for cover in the future. If a Cast Lead was launched every time a mortar or rocket was fired, they would be no rockets. It would stop.
