I'm french and I must say that's this is really horrific. But I'm sorry to say that this crime is far from being purely anti-semitic. Indeed a murderer with the same weapons and same methodology murdered military men last week in 2 separate attacks. All these murders are highly linked to the same criminal and as the last week's deaths are not Jewish authorities are thinking of a crazy murderer without any anti-semitic concern.

French authorities can stop with all their useless condemnations and apologies. What they really need to do is grow some chutzpah and reign in all the flourishing antisemitism coming out of their population. The British received a mandate to help us build Israel. As soon as they had power, they said Israel was too underdeveloped so they limited Jewish immigration while importing massive numbers of Arab Muslims from the neighboring countries. Many of the Jews murdered by the Germans would have been saved if not for the racist British. If Israel can absorb more than 400,000 Arabs since 1992, and plans to let millions more move to Judea and Samaria, and can absorb tens of thousands economic refugees from Eritrea, we can certainly find the way to let Jews come back home from France.

As always surely the french autorities will deny full responsability of the authors saying is a crazy man and by the way evitating their responsability in allowing a climate of incitement against jews that facilitates this kind of tragedies. the autorities are also to blame here.

You ought to do likewise in Holland. IDF is responsible for Israeli citizens who reside there and that's ENOUGH to me. Besides, 25% of Israelis are NOT "Am Israel." The Israeli Law of Return is available to you and you can submit your application even in Holland.

If Arab terrorists target Jews anywhere for being Jews, there is no deterence or defense possible. Hotheads will talk about retaliation but it wouldn't work because terrorists do not care about losses to their innocent civilians. Other hotheads will talk about Jews arming themselves but there will always be soft targets of opportunity. Civilized society depends on a compact among citizens to work. David your comment was very matter of fact. French Jews like some of our family, are settled. They and we in Europe know the anti-semitism that goes on in our country. We are not stupid. Not only on the streets of Europe but through social media sites. The people to blame, are the violent left wing who are aligning themselves with neo-nazis & crazed Islamic extremists.
