1. take them back from settlers

2. Common sense
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.19.12)
Israel acquired non-sovereign Judea and Samaria in the course of fighting a DEFENSIVE war against Jordan. The illegal Arab interlopers living in the West Bank are Jordanian citizens, and have absolutely no claim to ANYTHING in Judea and Samaria. If they don't like it, they are free to leave at any time. If you are going to start hostilities, you have to be willing to accept the consequences thereof. Six wars; seven decades of unremitting ersatz "Palestinian" violence and terrorism. Israel is running out of patience.
3. No such thing as "palestinians"!Never was and never will be!
Samantha   (03.19.12)
4. There are no "settlers", only Israeli's
tiki ,   belgium   (03.19.12)
It's about time to stop using this word. It's the Arab narrative, adopted by hatefull Europeans. Israelis come back to rebuild their ancient lands. Nowhere in the world is a person who is changing his adress (from the city to a greener and less polluted countryside), called a 'settler.
5. To: No. 1
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.19.12)
Would the native Americans would be justified in taking back the headwaters of the Mississippi, Missouri and Colorado Rivers, which are responsible for most of the irrigation in the midwest and in California, is that right? Of course, the difference is that while native Americans were DRIVEN from their lands by European settlers, the ersatz "Palestinians" living in the West Bank did not arrive in Israel until following the First World War. They hail from Mesopotamia and chiefly from the Hejaz in the Western Arabian desert. The only people indigenous to the State of Israel -- including Judea and Samaria -- are the Jews. Everyone else is just an unwanted invader. The Jews were driven from their homes in Judea and Samaria following Jordan's takeover in 1948. Forty-eight synagogues in Jerusalem alone were dynamited. Ancient Jewish tombstones on the Mount of Olives were used to pave Jordanian military latrines. The Western Wall of the Temple, one of the holiest sites in Judaism, was turned into a rubbish heap. The Jewish presence in Judea and Samaria dates back over 3,000 years and is well-documented. The same cannot be said for the illegal Arab interlopers living in the West Bank -- who are all Jordanian citizens, anyway. It is clear that you know absolutely nothing; this is not the forum for you.

No such thing as settler...only "reclaimer."
7. BUT IT'S OK FOR THE PALIS TO BOMB ISRAEL WITH THEIR MISSILES

tell the un to shove that report up their corporate orifices.
8. Turn In Your Weapons
emanon ,   USA   (03.19.12)
I don't know if the water blockade is true or not, but if it is, work out a payment schedule: so many liters of water for every 50 bullets, so many for each hand gun, stick of explosive, etc. armed terrorstinians should not get water.
9. Water
Anita ,   Israel   (03.19.12)
These "springs" were not accessible sources of water for anyone. They are tiny pools or springs scattered around in hard-to-reach places which were filthy, abandoned, unused and unusable and which a small group of "settlers" voluntarily cleaned and fixed up, at their own expense, and turned into little gems. People come to picnics, to tour and if they are big enough, maybe a few people at a time can swim in them. No one pumps drinking water from them and no flocks are brought to them. They are all in Area C, Israeli "territory". This is just one more example of hateful Arab - UN propoganda. By the way, every water source the Arabs have touched in Judea and Samaria has been thoroughly polluted. including water which reaches Israeli sources and then must be cleaned up to be made usable.
10. united nations ocha and springs
milson   (03.19.12)
United nations ocha is a committee of liars and rear enders who spout libels and lies about israel on springs and everything else. The UN hosts inciters and killers like abbas and ahmadinejad, yet blasts israel 24/7. Well, I can honestly say the UN is full of merde and france knows what the word means. Pillay in particular is a gutless lawyer in the mold of livni and olmert, 2 flunkees who contributed nothing but harm. Pillay is an enemy of israel and eventually she should be tried in the hague for incitment and libel against israel relative to the gaza and the marmora. Pilay should be jailed along with travers and chinkin. Goldstone is redressing his wrongs with some of his recent statements on israel but he better watch his steo.
11. Essential resource
Arnold ,   Canada   (03.19.12)
Whether Palestinian or Israeli. West Bank or Judea/ Samaria. Water is the essense of life. Please learn to share. Whether you believe in Hashem, Allah, or God, the water is for all.
12. "illegal under international law"
jerusalem   (03.19.12)
that statement is getting as worn out slowly by the studies, news lines, and researches done on the matter of israel altogether. Is that all the UN can do-issue factual reports/studies and condemnations (the number of condemnations against the practices of israel far encompasses all other boarding states combined!) when it comes to israel? How much wrong should be done to a people until they actually do start helping resolve the conflict?
13. Water in the mideast
A Jereusalemite ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (03.19.12)
Water is the source of life. In our semi-arid climate it can and will become a source of violence. The settlers have NO right to deny water to any other people, whether they believe in their own right to live in that area or not. The gov't is weak and afraid to control them. The only possible deterrence is for the vast majority of us that are against this behaviour is to speak up, now!
14. well, what says UN and "the international law"
Borislava ,   Sofia, Bulgaria   (03.19.12)
for the springs in North Cyprus? Can anyone give a link. Not to offend you, I just ask. But in recent days apparently having trouble finding explanations
15. UN?
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (03.19.12)
Is this the same UN that twittered two year old pictures of a person who died in a traffic accident as "the latest Israeli murder"? Why exactly should we believe them?
16. deeply in love with the settlers <3
ester   (03.19.12)
17. Gotta love the part ....
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.19.12)
.... where they talk about "cultivating" the land. Until Israel acquired Judea and Samaria in 1967, the ersatz "Palestinians" didn't cultivate a darn thing. It was Israel that brought them modern irrigation techniques and now -- in typical ersatz "Palestinian" fashion -- they are biting the very hands that taught them. I wonder when they are going to break into their absurd fantasy about all those mythical olive groves and mythical fruit orchards that were the pride of their mythical forefathers (well, the forefathers weren't mythical, but they sure weren't raising anything in Judea and Samaria, principally because they didn't live there and, even once they came and illegally squatted on the land, they didn't do anything useful with it. You should see the pictures of what the West Bank looked like when Israel acquired it -- it makes the worst Haitian slum look like a Five-Star resort. Ersatz "Palestinian" disinformation -- and more of that unrelenting whining and imaginary "victimhood." Nauseating, really.
18. To: No. 11
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.19.12)
If the ersatz "Palestinians" felt that way, shouldn't they at a minimum stop polluting the water?
19. Moronic claim, WB spring flow-rate = household faucet
Dr. L. Brnd ,   San Diego, USA   (03.19.12)
The natural springs of the "West Bank" are seasonal dribbles that are on average no more than a home kitchen faucet - not nearly enough water to irrigate any farm field, even one. It is a typical bogus UN charge. The WB is a highland karst geology, rain water drains away via porous limestone and emerges in an underground steam sources and the artesian water table - most always inside Israel. Few springs of any size are up in the WB plateau where Jewish communities site are anywhere close - Jericho is the exception, fed by flow from Jerusalem springs. WB [and Gaza] gets almost all of its agricultural water from Israeli pipelines - as part of an Oslo agreement that also demands that the Palestinians recognize Jewish Israel and end all violence. Given that the Arabs have never kept their side of the deal, Israel should cut off the flow of water from Israel, where there is a shortage because of these agreements.
20. #5 ... same old story...
Uri ,   Siberia   (03.19.12)
You attack all other nations who dares to comment with the same old tired rhetoric and that holier-than-thou attitude ... Canaanites ring a bell?
21. Personal experience
Elihu ,   Efrat, Israel   (03.19.12)
In Hevron, at the base of the Moslem cemetary, there is a natural spring -the outlet of which that had been used as a mikveh for millenia. The water is pure and fresh. I used to visit on Friday mornings for years. Last year, Palestinian youth on multiple occaisions dumped dead animals (sheep and goats) into the water, fouling the entire water source, so that no one could use it. Never see these incidents in the news. I wonder why?
22. u.n. workers are a blight
rick ,   walnut creek   (03.20.12)
armed with their lies and their hate against Israel and the Jews, they land and start trying to subvert, destroy, dismantle. Israel should send them home. they are a blight.
23. GOOD GOOD GOOD the springs belong to Israel
Berchmans ,   Scotland   (03.20.12)
24. No apologists here, everyone seems proud of their racism
Jon ,   Baltimore US   (03.20.12)
I guess this site can only be admired for its candor. Everyone admits Israeli settlers are stealing the water and are proud of it. I guess that is why everyone seems to know at least one Jewish word, chutzpah.
25. "Palestinian" poseurs out of our land!
Chaim ,   Israel   (03.20.12)
From now on, the only aid Israel should offer to "Palestinian" poseurs is assistance in leaving our land. Enough is enough! They are harming us in a million different ways. They plan to mass murder us and steal our sole Homeland. Enough is enough! "Palestinian" poseurs OUT!
26. The WB belongs to Israel, water and all.
Bella Mackie ,   London UK   (03.20.12)
27. To: No. 24
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.20.12)
Care to explain how it is even possible to "steal" that which belongs to you? Do you want to know how important fresh water is to ersatz "Palestinians?" I will tell you. Prior to Israel's acquisition of the West Bank in June of 1967, the ersatz "Palestinians" never irrigated anything, and polluted streams and wellsprings wth human sewage. That accounts for the annual outbreaks of cholera that killed thousands until Israel came along and fixed the problem. It was the Israelis who came and painstakingly cleaned those putrid streams and wellsprings. Since you clearly know nothing, oughtn't you just shut up?
28. BRAVO SETTLERS!!
Bad Assed Jew ,   United States   (03.20.12)
BUILD BABY BUILD, ANNEX BABY ANNEX ALL OF ISRAEL ANd MAKE JERUSALEM HER UNDIVIDED CAPITOL. The best way to eliminate the problems is to make great cities where settlers once settled Israel. They are heroes.
29. Fire up "Cast Lead" part 11
Bad Assed Jew ,   United States   (03.20.12)
Obama is responsible for the premature ending of cast lead when he took office, remember? We, the American people do. Now, see how Iran finances gaza and the continued terror against Syria's civilians while the russians are landing in Tehran. It's mad wold in mussie land.
30. #24 - actually, only YOU added the term "stolen"
William ,   Israel   (03.20.12)
the positive TBs here support the reclamation of land following the 1949 ethnic cleansing of Jews by Arabs, and other TBs state the situation is made into a political issue when infact the "Palestinians" do have access. If you're going to comment, try not adding in your own editorials and claim them as fact.
