61. Are these people serious!?I have no words for such ignorance
Danny ,   Israel   (03.25.12)
62. #60 - wishful thinking !
Ismail Hamam ,   Qom, Iran   (03.25.12)
Sorry, thats wishful thinking ! The situation in Iran is that the sanctions are having some effect on imported luxury items, but on most commodities the prices are stable. The government is able to recieve payments through tax havens & trade through barter & cross-border smuggling with friendly countries easily. Thus hoping the regime will collapse quickly is quite far-fetched !
63. To: No. 51
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.25.12)
Au contraire. An extremely successful one. Did you know that some American firms have an international presence? But even if that were not the case (it is), has it occurred to you that I can log in from pretty much anywhere in the world? It really isn't any different from working from home, which quite a few of my colleagues do. You really aren't the sharpest knife in the drawer, are you? Either that, or you are so phenomenally technologically unaware as to render you a totally laughable dinosaur. Your choice.
64. You must understand:they are just like the compulsive pigeon
tom ,   tel aviv   (03.25.12)
feeders in the cities: they can't control it. It is a involountary reflex of a LLI (Left-Leaning-Idiot). You show them a picture of a cute, black child and they're ready to "import" millions of "refugees" from.....wherever and so on and so on. Pathetic and with pathological undertones.
65. To: No. 39
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.25.12)
First of all, even if Iran could assemble a nuclear warhead (highly doubtful), Iran does not have delivery capacity. That's the key, and while quite a few countries may have nuclear weapons, they lack the ability to deliver them. That's a much smaller club. Israel is a member of that much smaller club. Don't push Israel. Unless you want to be turned into a large, glowing cinder. We can do it, and there is nothing you can do to stop us. In fact, you will be amazed at the number of nations that will rise up against you. Iran is a primitive abomination. The die is very much cast against you. Save yourselves while there is still time.
66. To: Sam at No. 57
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.25.12)
I am not entirely sure that I understand your rancor at my post at No. 50. Could you explain?
67. #62 Try again, your ship is sinking
Cynthia ,   USA   (03.25.12)
Tax havens, cross border smuggling is nothing new. Sanctions have made it difficult for Iran to do business and Iran is import dependent. The subsidy program was a bust with Ahmadinejad as the fall guy. The rich clerics are worried about their beloved oil profits while Iranians suffer. You'd be hard pressed to point to any stability in Iran. That includes housing, food prices, gas, transportation and employment.
68. You see, #60...even #62 welcomes an Israeli strike
Israeli 2   (03.25.12)
69. # 63 just go and poke yourself. You need a new hobby
Israeli   (03.25.12)
Your self annointed educational whatever you call yourself to the international English speakers of the world doesn't help Israel, it just makes you sound like a dumb American and totally out of touch with real Israeli life.
70. To No: 65
Frank Wright   (03.25.12)
A missile is not at all necessary to deliver a nuke. It can even be smuggled across the border in a car, truck or suitcase and detonated anywhere. Thats why nukes are so dangerous.
71. #65 - you think we are afraid ?
Fiaz Ahmed ,   Tehran, Iran   (03.25.12)
Persia should have finished Israel during the reign of Darius & Cyrus, but they were too lenient ! Who needs a missile, fighter planes can deliver a nuke easily (Hiroshima/Nagasaki). Just one nuke is enough for Israel, though the Great Satan may need many nukes.
72. #67 - you have to ask
Ismail Hamam ,   Qom, Iran   (03.25.12)
You have to ask Obama whats the use of "10% sanctions with waivers" ? Iran is mostly self-sufficient in food items, imported items like cars, gadgets etc are affected. Also has over $100 billion in cash reserves in tax-havens & gold bullion, which is enough for few years. A total naval & land blockade may have been more effective, but not such eye-wash sanctions. And since many countries are co-operating with Iran in thwarting the sanctions, they are clearly not effective. Btw, please ask Obama to show his Birth Certificate first & deport his illegal immigrant aunt residing in New York first....ha ha ha ha !
73. Protest in Israel
Lu ,   Israel   (03.25.12)
The Iranian government, especially the President, wants to annihilate Israel, drive us into the sea, and they deny the Holocaust. Are these protestors for real. Maybe they should go and protest in Iran!!! What a disgrace these Israelis are!! Have they no shame.
74. #40
Eugene ,   Israel   (03.25.12)
Nope, Ahmadinejad never said it, it's a mistranslation that's everyone keen on using for some reason.
75. #74 - just yesterday
William   (03.25.12)
Just few days Ahmedinijad said Israel was a cancerous tumor (also said by Khamenei few weeks ago) that needs to be removed. Is that friendly talk ???
76. reply to #50 was meant for #51
Sam   (03.25.12)
77. To: No. 69
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.25.12)
Whatever. Hey, better get your detergent and mop. There's some bathrooms that need cleaning. That's your Israeli life. It certainly isn't mine. Have fun.
78. Those who forget...
Pilgrim ,   Moncton, Canada   (03.25.12)
Jews in Germany thought that they could reason with Hitler. Hitler was tame compared with the Mullahs. Are you going to wait to be led to the slaughterhouse again. Have you forgotten the past?
79. To: No. 71
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.25.12)
No, I don't think you're necessarily afraid -- your regime has filled your so-called brain with notions that have absolutely no basis in reality. Not your fault. I do, however, think that you and the Islamofascist regime in Iran are insane. Mad dogs. Mad dogs are always put down; haven't you heard? Do you REALLY think that Israel wouldn't shoot down any Iranian launch? Probably over Iran, I might add. Do you REALLY think that Iran will be allowed to go nuclear? More fool you. Darius, Xerxes and Cyrus are long gone. What you've grown in their stead is something far less laudatory. Hey -- can you spell Alexander? Remember what he did to you? Well, think of Israel as a present-day Alexander. We're going to shut you down. Forever.

Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (03.25.12)
I believe he was responding to Avi and got your number by mistake. That is why I didn't reply to him.
81. So much fun from the S* B crap.
Michael ,   California, USA   (03.25.12)
Better than the bombs themselves. Someone ought to write a play and stage it in Tehran and Tel Aviv simultaneously. And in Washington, DC. Ersatz Americans will flock to see it.
82. #77. So, everyone in Israel is a cleaner to you, Sarah??
Ori ,   Tel Aviv   (03.25.12)
With comments like this it doesn't sound like you have immersed yourself into Israeli society in your half assed aliyah and your lack of Hebrew.. In your head there is YOU and then every other Israeli is a cleaner, is that what you're saying? Bad Zionist, naive Zionist. Please stay in the USA. Please.
83. Sarah B and her critics
zionist forever   (03.25.12)
What exactly does she does as a career if what is supposed to be the topic of discussion is the protests of a bunch of far left idealists in Tel Aviv? So Sarah B is a lawyer that works part time in Israel part time in the US is that such a big deal? For the purpose of these talkbacks should it matter if she was a lawyer or a road sweeper? This whole thing looks like children squabbling. Come now children why not act like grown ups for a change.
84. To: No. 82
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.25.12)
Sorry, no can do. I spend half the year in Manhattan and half the year in Saviyyon. Don't like it? Too bad for you. Go stand in a corner and sulk, why don't you? By the way -- I spent five years in the IDF. My Hebrew is considerably better than yours. You are just a common garden variety chah-chah. Get lost. Stay lost.
85. #72 You must remember
Cynthia ,   USA   (03.25.12)
There are UN, EU and US sanctions. Then there are pressure groups like the one that influenced Japan to stop selling cranes to Iran for those nasty public executions. The tax havens, hidden assets, bullion represent nothing new. Regime leaders are saving for the rainy day when they're run out of the country. You don't have enough food to feed 70 million people which is why prices are being driven up. And don't forget how drought and severe weather conditions impact Iran's food supply. That includes Iran's #2 export product, pistachio nuts. This market is being taken over by the California growers spending big bucks to perfect and market their products. Btw, please explain how Mousavi won the election but Ahmadinejad was appointed President? I have a great idea. Shelve the nuclear program and quit the terror business. Start solving Iran's compounding and very serious domestic problems before the 70 million angry Iranians take to the streets again.

Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (03.25.12)
When people post put downs to Sarah B or anyone else they shouldn't be upset when they are answered by put downs. If people are going to dish it out then they should be able to take it and that includes you Ari.
87. Ori # 82
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (03.25.12)
When people post put downs aimed at Sarah B or anyone else they should not be surprised if they are answered with put downs. If people can dish it out they should be able to take it. You included.
88. #63 Sarah B
Avi ,   Israel   (03.25.12)
Judging by the countless hours that you spend on this forum, I doubt very much that you are successful lawyer. As a matter of fact, I doubt that you have an education at all... You are a bad name to Jews every where. I do not feel sorry for your husband, because he failed miserably to keep you on a leash...
89. #65 Sarah B
Avi ,   Israel   (03.25.12)
Other than your usual rant about "glowing cinder", do you having anything of substance to contribute here? If not, I suggest you shut the eff up. Its us living here in Israel that have to suffer the consequences of your rotten testosterone...
90. #66 Sarah B
Avi ,   Israel   (03.25.12)
If you little brain could not comprehend what Sam said in his talk back then you are as stupid as I thought....
