31. Why is Israel always singled out?
ZionistBill ,   Israel   (03.26.12)
There are countless examples in the past of nations which did the right thing instead of following the advice of unelected judges. Hilter didn't worry about judges. US President Andrew Jackson ignored the US Supreme Court and kicked native Americans off of land that white settlers needed. Why can't Israel do the same? Is anyone else tired of this hypocrisy? If other nations have done such things, then Israel should also be able to. The reason so many get upset when Israel does what others have done is because of antisemitism. I note this is my SECOND attempt to post this. Let's see if it passes the censor this time...

33. #23 we in Israel don't buy ur mythology...
Israeli ,   Israel   (03.26.12)
that is to say Migron residents sitting there don't defend anyone. Don't believe me? Go ask a survivor of a terrorist attack in Jerusalem!
34. and scapegoats
political agenda ,   World   (03.26.12)
this high court decision and netaniahus acceptance only leaves a sense that there's an agenda- and this settlement and the people in it -one by one are the scapegoats- really NOBODY IS ABOVE THE LAW- but not this law - I mean the real UPPER LAW-
35. Democracy?! Response to #22, Chaim
Aviela ,   MIGRON, ISRAEL   (03.26.12)
The land in question here has eleven caravans on it, that we in Migron have previously offered to move. As well, nobody has proven in any court of law that that , or any part of Migron is on private Arab land. You put those two together, then kick out 49 families and call that democracy? I think not.
36. #35 Aviela In her trailer park
Haim ,   TA   (03.26.12)
Hate to break it to you but there is a system of law in this country. Can i go build a villa or park a trailer in the middle of park Ha Yarkon and call it a settlement? Where exactly is this imaginary line on which one side you need planning permission to put up a gate post and on the other you can do what ever you like ?
37. The political left is a threat the jewish people !
who cares   (03.26.12)
Look at the Israeli media ( TV, newspapers incl YNet) look at the courts : They are in the hands of the political left which is using its power to achieve its own goals but NOT THE BEST FOR ISRAEL. The political left is aka of a fifth column - a threat to Israel which has to be dealt with.
38. #9 correction
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (03.26.12)
The "elections" to the High Court are not elections, rather appointments made by the presiding Court President. No matter what, Beinish would have appointed an extreme-Leftist. The Right preferred Grunis because he had a history of supporting individual rights, supporting the democratic separation of powers as opposed to unlimited court rule and seemed less corrupt. What is the point of gloating because it turns out that Grunis is just as corrupt as his predecessors?
39. Back atcha, Haim
Aviela ,   MIGRON, ISRAEL   (03.26.12)
You in Tel Aviv are sitting on a destroyed Arab village. We are sitting on land that hasn't been touched since Second Temple times. Every necessary signature of government officials was garnered to start this community, except the last one. Having Jews on this mountain keeps the road below safe from snipers and rock-hurlers. The Ministry of Housing made a housing plan here for 500 units, already a number of years ago. We are not lawbreakers, we are simply being used by the left as political pawns.
40. #24 wrong
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (03.26.12)
The High Court has never said that they think the land is owned by Arabs because no evidence was ever presented. If the land was owned by Arabs, the foreign-funded NGOs would have gone to a district court against the Jews, what usually happens. Since the land wasn't owned by Arabs, the NGOS went to the High Court, knowing that the High Court would order a violent eviction of Jews.
41. Migron
RLY ,   Givatayim, Israel   (03.26.12)
Though High Court Justice Grunis headed the panel which decided the fate of Migron, what the article failed to point out was that the other two members of the panel were two hardliner leftists; the Arab, who invariably in any Arab/Jew conflict finds for the Arabs, and Beinish's friend, Miriam Naor. Can anyone be truly surprised by the verdict. The spirit of Beinish (tragically) lives on.
42. @29 correct - The Arabs have never proved ownership.
rebecca ,   Modiin   (03.26.12)
So I cannot figure out how this supreme court came to their conclusion without adding politics to the "logic".
43. Peace Now is NOT AN ORGANIZATION
Peace Now correction ,   WORLD   (03.26.12)
BUT ORGANIZED CRIME ITSELF
44. to Haim @ 36
Jennie ,   Israel/US   (03.26.12)
I find your diatrab to Aviela insulting and cowardly..You knew well about the long lawsuit, Migron is fighting to save and keep their community on our ancient liberated land ...So why embarass yourself by " Ha Yarkon" ? But you know what ? Because of people like you, there could come a time, when even the Ha Yarkon park will be claimed by the Palis ...Too bad you don't see why do we need to keep and build the towns and the moshavim in Yehuda and Shomron...Kol Hacavod and Thank You to Aviela and ALL MGRON Residents..YASHER KOACH !
45. about Haim @ 22
Jennie ,   Israel/US   (03.26.12)
Before even finishing reading another of Haims "perls", it finally hit me...He couldn't be an Israeli Jew..He must be an enemy of Israel, hiding under an ssumed name and place..
