All Hamas does is exploit the citizens - making super profits on their misery, making them store weapons in their homes and even using them and the CHILDREN as human shields. They are totally corrupt and ABNORMAL - worse than the mafia.

One thing is to be a terrorist organization with lots of money to buy alliegence of the people, and the other is to be the power responsible to provide for every need of the population. As a terrorist group they could accuse PLO of corruption while distributing food and medicine to the people, giving free education, etc.. from healthcare to education and food, everything is paid for by global aid giving the Gazans much more time to build large families (then claim poverty) and wage war. There was a great article about it in the WSJ called the Youth Bulge, explaining how global welfare is actually HURTING the "Palestinians" ability to care for themselves and keeping the entire region in perpetual war. Israel stated this decades ago.
