This must end. The soldiers are willing to fight and die for Israel but, not be insulted, beaten, and cursed at by other older IDF soldiers. I'm glad the authorities have arrested the guilty.

I served in some the IDF Elite Units, Batallion 50,Reserve Para Brigade 525, 1972-1981 with some of the finest fighters in Israel's history. I never saw pointless sadistic cruelty . Only brutaly hard training 24 hours a day, where if you failed the Unit your punishment was being thrown out . I must believe this stupidity is not the norm for the IDF, or somthing is systemic wrong with the Command of Givati.

One of the biggest disappointments in joining the IDF was the division between senior and junior soldiers. It really harms the unity of a platoon.

It is no wonder that this whole race of people is so ignorant!!! They know nothing but violence and it is sickening!

This footage makes me wonder if some of the arab's complaints about mistreatment by Israeli soldiers are true. If Israeli soldiers can do this to one of their own brothers, you do not have to stretch your imagination much to believe the claoms of abuse by the arabs. This footage saddens and disappoints me. I hope Israel is not becoming so militarised that this kind of violence is seen as something "cool" by the soldeirs.

These are not real beatings. Not exactly fun for the younger troops, but more playful than cruel.
