the US has a problem on credibility in the Middle East. I don´t think that the gulf monarchies are happy with the US after the arab spring in Egypt, and they are not happy on how the west dealt with the Syrian problem. It will be a difficult task to Mrs. Clinton to find partners willing 100% to support the Us failed policies in the Middle East and Iran
2. Reality Check ...

No matter how much hte US pushes, the hard reality is the Gulf States have no spare capacity. As several non-US sources (jpost for one) have pointed out, not only have the Saudis reached the limit of their production ,but they are even re-opening old fields in an attempt to get just a few more barrels per day. What the US is really hoping is that enough Iranian oil gets smuggled through Iraq and other countries to keep the oil market from melting down.

One has to take into consideration that Iran, too, has remained prepared for different moves that USA is making. So far as these stooges in Persian Gulf areas are concerned, they themselves would soon find backing the wrong horse.I bet you on this.
