1. Free speech is not hate speech
Baruch ,   Houston/Israel   (04.01.12)
This is a bold and defining move. We are not America! We are Israel and we move responsibly together, forward, not being slowed down by speech that is against the interests of the people and nation.
2. Scumbag
Sam M ,   UK   (04.01.12)
In many jurisdictions this jihadi scumbag would be sentenced as if he was a murderer with no distinction drawn between the actual killers and those who support, instigate and encourage them. He should get life in prison. Held in a small cell with a bucket, a koran, a prayer mat and some lubricant for those days when his thoughts stray from the prophet!
3. If the govern of Israel was normal...
Keren ,   IL-BR   (04.01.12)
It would put a military quarter at every 2kms in towns like Nazareth;Rahat;Um Fa..something;and would facilitate Jewish housing in these towns. Arabs living in them would be filled with sinagoges, yeshivas, jewish teathers and so on. Or they would adapt or they would go. But no,Israel let them happy and free to do all the aberrations they wish under its nose!!! This is an absurd! About this iman:Israel should have DEALTH PENALTY! Offer to them the same they offer to infidels and traitors!
4. Conviction and PA funds
sk ,   USA   (04.01.12)
Now that you have a conviction, withold funds to repay all people who lost life, limb, pain & suffering and lost personal property, because of the preachings of hate.
5. I hope once they put him in jail
Dahlia ,   Los Angeles USA   (04.01.12)
they throw away the key.
6. #2Sam M,You could have added...
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (04.01.12)
....that Scapa's incitement would have got him arrested, prosecuted and jailed in the UK as well. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
7. keep him STRICTLY ISOLATED!
roxanne ,   sf & haifa   (04.01.12)
8. The headline is misleading?
Ben ,   Israel   (04.01.12)
The groups he preached to decided to attack non-Muslims which, even if you held him responsible for their actions, would mean he called for violence against Jews, Christians, atheists, Buddists, etc. The headline makes it sound like he targeted Jews specifically, which he didn't. That's really dishonest reporting.
9. Why not send him out of the country?
AMERICAN HINDU ,   USA   (04.01.12)
Why not send him out of Israel so he can live in an Islamic country and see what it is like?
10. Unacceptable
Abed ,   Nazareth   (04.02.12)
This man is the stain upon this city and upon our country. He engages in terrorism so it is time to see if the new terrorism legislation works and strip away his citizenship. I don't want this man living where I live and where my wife and kids work and go to school.
11. punish severely. no outside contact. leave him alone in his

12. muslim imam
joel ,   usa   (04.02.12)
if this muslim imam violated the anti terror law of israel, then hang him high, these terrorists don't give mercy to their victims, therefore, no mercy for them as well!
