1. Its about Talent, Not Socialism
Noah Lev ,   LosAngelesUSA   (04.03.12)
I am going to assume that many of the protestors ( as in the USA), dont work, or are on the margins of employment. Since these people dont pay much in taxes, they can tweak the "rich" or "well healed". 1m Charedi are reducing Israels security, receiving undeserved charity (local and abroad) and foist Israel's security on others. Few Charedi women work..and those that do, remain in religious institutions. or day care supv. Yeshiva study and having children are a blessing..but not to a fault. Israel's trade is sustaining it..and pro-Israel diaspora groups are in effect, allowing Israel's good GDP. An agency outside the govt seems outrageous..to whom will they be responsible..and can they enforce fiscal policy, unless through the govt? Will they raise taxes, can they? Some Israelis are in awe of Saul Alinsky and socialism, still. Israel's talented population is why Israel is doing so well. Having those natural gas fields...should be a priority. The nexus between we Jews in the Diaspora and Israeli Jews and others, must continue and be strengthened. That is Israel's not so secret weapon.
2. For now!
Carl van Zijll de Jo ,   Lincoln, NZ   (04.04.12)
This time the IMF is stating a true future, but not on the right assumptions. It is true because all economies have departed from the universal Laws of Economics, including Israel who should know better. Depending on the extend of violation some are still in a better shape than others for now. The only alternative is by reinstating the Laws of Economics as suggested by “The World Monetary Order” (Google).
