1. Why do we comemorate Hanucah ,after all?
Keren ,   IL-BR   (04.04.12)
We keep comemorating our victories ignoring that, after a little while ,we give the victory up. We came back to Israel after 2000 years ,with harsh struggle to accomplish such a monumental task. What's the use of so much sacrifice and lost of lives if we keep giving up to powers and peoples who want to destroy us,by doing STUPID alliances with them??? A voted leader of Israel should be FORBIDDEN by law to make STUPID alliances with people and countries who end up commanding our destinies over and over again ,by obligating us to fulfill the "contracts"made with them which ALWAYS go against us! That's very idiotic ,indeed!
2. Netanyahu is a liar- he is responsible
Rachel ,   US   (04.04.12)
3. I cannot wait ....
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.04.12)
... for Avigdor Lieberman to assume the post of Prime Minister. It will be nice to have a REAL prime minister again. He will not tolerate these nonsense evictions of Jews from the Jewish homeland.
4. If Israel would have transfered all the
Israeli 2   (04.04.12)
residence of Hebron to Jordan immediately after the 6 day war in 1967, implementing the greatest most logical plan ever, this would be a non issue today. With respect, I wish the Arabs well - elsewhere. On the other hand, the Jewish residents of Hebron are not the honest, representatives of good and fairness either.
5. Another Day Another Lie
Joe Sombrero ,   USA   (04.04.12)
Another Day Another Lie Barak according to Israel National News said he did it to prevent facts on ground. So tell me whos boss, and also what was the so called legal reason I still have not seen it.,
6. The disastrous result of Bibi's election as Likud leader.
Chaim ,   Israel   (04.04.12)
Every day Israel pays for the disastrous Likud decision to elect Bibi as it's leader. Barak is a far leftist and he is honest about it. However, Barak couldn't do the incalculable damage he does to Israel without Bibi's consent. Likud must either elect someone genuinely committed to the true values of Likud and Israel or be replaced as Israel's dominant party.
7. One Lie then Two Lies
Joe Sombrero ,   USA   (04.04.12)
First Migron, then Hebron, whats the next lie the other disputed settlements up for destruction that you requested to be investigated for their legality. Please they are probably skeaming to get rid of the other settlements also. Great Way to prevent a violent confrontation between settlers in the future by destroying trust and rewriting law for political reasons.
8. It's hard for me to say
Ethan Schwartz ,   Eilat   (04.04.12)
Those 2 clowns did the right thing.
9. WHY CELEBRATE IF EVERYTHING IS THE OPPOSITE?
daniel   (04.04.12)
ROSH HASHANA? REPENTANCE AND CORRECTION? IN REALITY DO NOT HAPPEN AND ALMOST ANYONE REGRET,SUCOT? THE DESERT AND THE PRECARIOUSNESS OF THE MATERIAL CONDITIONS? IF EVERYONE FOLLOWS THE MONEY SEARCHING FOR POWER AND EGO,PESACH? JUMP THE DEPARTURE OF THE HEBREW PEOPLE OF EGYPT THAT MARKS THE BIRTH OF THE PEOPLE AS SUCH ? IF MANY PREFER LIVING OUTSIDE ISRAEL,SHAVUOT? THE DELIVERY OF THE TORAH BY GOD TO MOSES ON MOUNT SINAI? IF EACH TIME COMPLYING LEAST MITZVOT
10. WE NEED MASHIAJ NOW!!!
daniel   (04.04.12)
11. Leiberman and bargouti-response to sarah
Realist   (04.04.12)
Perhaps after his conviction Lieberman can share a cell with Bargouti and they can negotiate a settlement.
12. To: No. 11
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.04.12)
Lieberman will not be convicted. You are no realist, and you clearly believe the trumped-up and libelous acts of Israel's left. Too bad for you. Perhaps someday you will pull your head out of that other orifice and allow your brain to develop.
13. #8: Yes, hard to say but we have to decide.
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (04.04.12)
What comes first - the Law or ideology? To me Hebron is the symbol of the foundation of Judaism far more than Jerusalem is and I am not religious. However, the law must prevail and if we allow front companies to purchase property, we aren't we descending to the level of organized crime? I remember the outrage of the Jewish community in Johannesburg when a front company bought the Beit Hamidrash Hagadol and promptly sold it to a Christian organization which was a against the conditions of sale. What's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander! What disturbs me most was the sight of little children spraying cold drink on our soldiers who are OUR children! Cold drink now - acid in the future!
14. @#3 Dream on Fascist! Dream On!
Annabelle Lee ,   Israel   (04.04.12)
15. #14. Kicking Jews out of their legal homes is fascism.
Chaim ,   Israel   (04.04.12)
#14 Annabelle. There is nothing fascist about allowing Jews to live in homes they legally purchase. That is a basic human right. The real fascism is kicking Jews out of their homes solely because they are Jews. The real fascism is betraying the vast majority of Israelis.
16. no chance of iran strike
marv   (04.04.12)
there is no c hance, zero, of bibi authorizing an iran strike. he does not have the inner spine to do something like that but could authorize if he is supported by his gang of 8. On his own, even though he did some miiltary duty, he is unable to do it. Barak likewise cannot do it because in the last 20 years he has done nothing but evict jewish judeans. As for arab terror, he hits half empty buildings and picks off 1 or 2. he is all talk with little action ... in cast lead it was livni who was pushing for action as barak wanted to stop it. No, barak cannot do it on his own. So, the coalition should try to get bibi to resign for health reasons and appoint yaalon to handle israel going forward. Barak had his chance and almost destroyed israel. He has to go.
17. Likud, coalition, stability, what is this?
Elad ,   Houston:Israel   (04.04.12)
18. @15 thanks 4 sharing ur view on fascism I don't agree w/u
#14 Annabelle Lee ,   Israel   (04.04.12)
Let's agree to disagree. and in the meantime go look up the definition of fascist.
19. Barak, you should never do this at Pessah
Nora Tel Aviv   (04.04.12)
(End).
20. Alternate headline: How to make...
(04.04.12)
...a smallish problem B-I-G, and look like an amature at the same time. Losing the common sense factor does very little to burnish the confidence level so neded to govern. Ah. Forrest Gump is now the national go to guy for descriptions of exactly how Israel is managed. Like sausage, it aint pretty Barak and the Beebster pushing and shoving to look like the biggest jackass. Must be a TV reality show in there somewhere.
21. One Lie then Two Lies
Mike ,   USA   (04.04.12)
I do not agree, but at least you can see the other side
22. Let the other side clean up my mess
Mike ,   USA   (04.04.12)
The problem here are the "Palestinians." Israel wants the Arabs to absorb them, even though some - not all - of them were ethnically cleansed. The Arabs want Israel to absorb them, even though some - not all - were told to flee by Arab authorities. Basically, each side wants the other side to take care of the "Palestinian" problem. The Arabs will not give their "Palestinians" rights while the Israelis will not give Palestinians construction permits. Neither side sees the other as fully human. Would you complainers be as upset if a Palestinian household was evicted? I know, I know, the "Palestinians" always build illegally. Sort of planned that way, if you never give them permits. Come back soon Jesus, because we humans are not fit to rule ourselves.
23. This is NOT about Hebron
Noah Lev ,   LosAngelesUSA   (04.04.12)
Two Jews, 3 opinions, When the F.M. rebukes the P.M. and Defense Sec. that says something about Israel's politidal structure, terribly flawed. Can anyoneimagine Clinton rebuking Obama over his comments recently? Assuming Barak had purview over dislodging the settlers, he carried out the orders of the S.C. This has been in the courts for years..and the families knew better. On Passover, as if they werent warned. The realproblem is being avoided..who owns the land? So until the overall conflict is decided, these incidents provoked by both sides, will continue and harden. The entire Hebron Jewish presence is farsical and pokes fingers. One commented; Hebron is Jewish..vs Jerusalem. Thats a nonsensical argument. If committees worked previously, then reestablish them. But turning the dispute over to the people...as Isaid, 3 Jews 4 opinions. The govt should make thosesettlers pay for the use of govt soldiers, who legally evicted them.Otherwise, you have anarchy ("throwing acid") Come on guy.
24. There is only one SOLUTION...!!!!!!
DISGUSTED ,   Israel   (04.04.12)
Fire Barack. If Bibi refuses. FIRE BIBI.
25. Bibi mistakes will costruzione him a way out..
Anna M Sedda ,   Rome-Italy   (04.04.12)
Very sad for Netanyahu, this is just too much;what can be' say about Barak that has not be' said:a disaster copule that will be' not remember
26. Jewish people should evict Bibi and Barak from power.
(04.04.12)
especially Barak.
27. If Jews have no right to Hebron.....
(04.04.12)
Then we have no right to a Tel Aviv or any other place in the land of Israel.
28. Now I know Bibi and Barak have no courage to attack Iran.
usa   (04.04.12)
These two talk the big talk about Iran but are dwarfs who only have the courage to evict Jewish families from homes.
29. GOV'T ONLY BRAVE AGAINST JEWISH CIVILIANS
ZIMBI ,   NJUSA   (04.04.12)
30. #29 These are NOT Jewish civilians
Dave ,   Washington DC   (04.04.12)
They are thieves who stole the house from it's owners, they also broke the law and should not only be evacuated but put in the prison for their disgusting behavior so other settlers can learn.
