31. Are Jews safe in Israel?
Bad Assed Jew ,   United States   (04.05.12)
Between the pals and the government, it seems like open season on settlers.
32. Musical chairs
Bad Assed Jew ,   United States   (04.05.12)
the Jews are evicted, the pals move in and are evicted. Like a musical ( almost ) comedy If it weren't true, it would be funny.
33. 30
rachel   (04.05.12)
Well according to the settlers the Arab owner of the home sold it to them and they have proof. Do you also think the grandchildren of the Arab people who massacred Jews in 1929 and stole their property should be expelled as well? Or is it only Jews you have problems with having a home in an Arab area? Why is it so wrong for Jews to live in the 2nd holiest city in Judaism after Jerusalem? Would you or others dare say Arabs shouldn't be allowed to live in Medina the second holiest city according to the Muslim religion? To people like you there always a doublestandard when it comes to Jews. And you wonder why people like me think your antisemitic.
34. Hebron is Pathetic
Noah Lev ,   LosAngelesUSA   (04.05.12)
To 27: come on,lets be realistic. The W.B. is dipusted territory, neither Pales Arab or Israeli (Jewish).Recall how Israel got it, by defeating Hussein in 67 after pleading with him not to join the fray.Prior, it was part of Jordans control (after 48). Do ou really believe Israel, with 5.9m hardened Jews, its mighty army and reserves, hundreds of nukes..will become history over a Jewish enclave in Hebron? Gaza reverted to the Pales..and Israel exists..albeit pin pricked by Hamas, etc. Israel is the 5th strongest army in the world..and Hebrons few buldgs will destroy it, if Jew are forced out? The Negev is empty...My county of LA has 10m souls..in 3,000 square miles.Israel has 6m Jews in 8,000. A gated and barb wire fenced enclave is not normal living..provocative, and requiring more effort than its worth. This issue (see prior comment) is simply about dividing the land between 2 opposing forces..once done, these issues are moot., assuming the Arab-Muslim world goes along. Focus on getting 1m Israelis back to Israel my friend..and resettling..NOT a meaningless and futile symbol. Dont be penny wise..as they say here.
35. Israel Will Do Nothing But Pray
Noah Lev ,   LosAngelesUSA   (04.05.12)
Even the USA is adverse toattacking Iran, so why should Israel play the good Christian? Iran dwarfs Israel in sieze and pop. (76m vs 5.8m Jews) It has vast resources, oil, etc. and makes its own weapons including planes, subs, ships and tanks. Its army is 10m strong. Israel loses 500 people and it goes into mourning. Recall how 1m hid in shelters (many inadequate) during Lebanese fiasco. Now, all of Israel is a target. If Iran gets nukes..mighty Israel will sit back, and pray, with leaving for Monsey, NY. Report: 30m and 15m Iranian/Syrian casualties.1m Jews, assuming Iran doesnt use nukes.Prediction: Iran will have nuke capability, and like Israel, claim it wont be the first in the area. Want to bet?
36. #18. Annabelle. Which dictionary did you use?
Chaim ,   Israel   (04.05.12)
#18 Annabelle. You advise me to look up; the definition of "fascist". What dictionary did you use? Sarah B. defends the rights of Jews to live in homes they legally purchase and you call her "fascist". The overwhelming consensus is that fascism is about authoritarian rule and denying people their rights. I guess Mussolini and Hitler don't meet your definition of fascist.
37. The real boss in the government?
Orly ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (04.05.12)
Not Ehud Barak. He is just the "representative" of the Supreme Court, who has Netanyahu with his arm twisted behind his back. It is this "real boss" that ensures Barak's presence in the coalition and grants him magnificent power.
38. Is there ever a recovery from ....
Gideon Reader   (04.05.12)
...a breach of trust? The answer is that once trust is lost it never returns to the place from whence it started. Suspicion will always taint what was and can never be again. The problem for Bibi is the persons who will precieve his tepid defense and eventual folding to Barak, make up his once loyal and now soured base. Look for the current FM or other more stiff spined individuals, steeped in the cold hard truth that there will never be a peace of any substance with the so called Palestinians, and the charade of making believe there will be, is intellectually and emotionally corrosive and very very stupid. Shame on Bibi. Barak? No one expected anything diffierent from him.
39. My saddast Pesach.
Gabe ,   Canada   (04.05.12)
I never thought this Government would go this far to satisfy Israel's enemies.
